16/11/2025: A very beautiful trattoria in the center of Ferrara, with exposed beams. Very good food and excellent prices. We hosted a large lunch, and the staff was attentive and kind, reserving the entire space for us and accommodating our needs. Thank you!
09/11/2025: A delightful trattoria in the center of Ferrara, where taste, flavors, and kindness blend to create a family-friendly atmosphere. Greeted by the friendly staff, we sat down, and the sight of the dishes passing by made it clear we'd chosen the right place. They immediately presented us with variations on the regular menu, which we naturally took advantage of. For our appetizer, we chose a delicious pumpkin pudding with Parmesan fondue...a true delight, the perfect combination of flavors. Since we had bad intentions, we chose two first courses that were nothing short of spectacular in flavor and preparation; instead of the "cappellaccio," they had cappelletti cacio e pepe, served inside a Parmesan basket... A generous portion, flavorful, and perfectly cooked pasta. Finally, we let the Parmesan basket melt, adding even more flavor to the pasta. A cappellaccio with smoked pancetta, toasted almonds, and a balsamic vinegar reduction... A true delight for the palate, cooked to perfection. Despite the generous portions, we were inspired by a second course (which I recommend sharing), a wonderful, gigantic "elephant ear" cutlet with potatoes (we asked for them to be baked)... Crispy breading and incredibly tender meat. To finish, we ordered a veal cheek that melted in the mouth, as an off-menu option. Five stars not only for the restaurant's high-quality cuisine but also for the kindness, attentiveness, and, unexpectedly, the complimentary liqueur at the end of the meal. A wonderful discovery.
