Very good discovery for our visit to Ventimiglia, very good focaccia🤤

I had lunch here alone by chance and I was particularly well received, I had a great time and I recommend this restaurant (I promise I'm not paid to leave this comment 😉)

We travelled from Nice to see the city and stumbled upon this place by accident. Amazing food, even better service and a very homely atmosphere. A must visit when in Ventimiglia.

We visited on two consecutive evenings and had dinner there. The wine selection is excellent — we only ordered wines by the glass, which were offered at €6. A classic Italian approach to wine and pricing — simply fantastic. The Aperol was also true to the Italian style: strong, delicious, and served for just €5. The pasta was perfectly prepared, though the portions were a bit small — which is completely understandable given the outstanding variety of appetizers available. The Spaghetti Carbonara was absolutely perfect. In other parts of Italy, I’ve mostly encountered the tourist version with bacon or cream sauce, but this one was an “Italiano Classico,” as the waiter proudly pointed out right away. The apparent owner is very friendly, as are the other staff members. Occasionally, you might wait a bit longer for your drinks when the place gets busy, but it’s totally acceptable. An absolute recommendation.

We were very well received, the pizzas and the risotto were very good. The little extra is that they speak French. I recommend.

Il locale dispone anche di un tavolo conviviale, per consumare il pasto accanto ad altri clienti, molto piacevole. Buon rapporto qualità/prezzo.
