Municipal Enoteca "I Crutin" is a true jewel hidden in the heart of the Borgomale square, located within the charming town hall of the village. From the first step into the restaurant, you perceive a unique and welcoming atmosphere, almost like entering a fairy tale. The limited number of seats (about twenty in total) guarantees an attentive and attentive service, where every guest feels welcomed at home.
The cuisine is a triumph of the Piedmontese tradition of the Langhe, with dishes prepared with fresh, high-quality raw materials. We opted for the Fassona tartare with a knife as a starter, followed by the Tajarin with mushrooms and the Plin with ragù as first courses (both off the menu). Each dish was a sublime experience for the palate, with authentic and well-balanced flavours. To conclude on a sweet note, we enjoyed the traditional "Bonet" and a hazelnut cake accompanied by Moscato zabaglione, both excellent desserts that made our meal unforgettable.
The owner and his wife are of a rare friendliness: welcoming and helpful, they make the experience even more pleasant with their genuine hospitality. The Enoteca offers the possibility of choosing a tasting menu with Starter, First Course, Second Course and Dessert for 35 euros, or the Traditional Menu with Tajarin with ragù as first course, Barolo braised meat with side dish as second course and Bonet as dessert for 25 euros. A simple place, which focuses on the quality of the dishes, perfect for those looking for authenticity and tradition in an intimate and fascinating context.

Stedet er fint. Udvalget af mad er ikke stort. Priserne virker rimelige.

Very characteristic place, practically in the heart of the municipality of Borgomale. About twenty seats, friendly host and typical cuisine with first choice ingredients. Excellent tajarin with meat sauce! Booking recommended!

Grazie.

Nice atmosphere, warm lights (not so cold/white like lots of Italian restaurants have).
Good local wines (Arneis), delicious pepperoni with tasteful filling, excellent steak from the grill and brasato. Nice taste, delicious hazelnut cake with sabbaione.
Good cook, lovely couple.
We’ll come back, that’s for sure!
