Enoteca Boccadama In Firenze

The best lasagna I tried in all of Italy, the service was spectacular, everyone was very friendly. We were a little pressed for time due to the day's demand, but overall the food was delicious and so was the wine.

Boccadama – A charming place with a beautiful view and solid cuisine After a long city tour of Florence, Boccadama, located right on Piazza Santa Croce, was a welcome break. The service was friendly and unobtrusive. The appetizer – prosciutto with melon – was fresh and classically good. Particularly noteworthy was the ravioli with pear and pecorino in butter, Parmesan, and sage – a very successful dish, delicately seasoned and harmonious. The rigatoni with sausage and truffle was a small disappointment: the pasta was a bit too firm, and the ragù was rather plain in flavor – a bit more refinement would have been nice. In summary: An atmospheric restaurant in a prime location with solid offerings. Perfect for a relaxing break with a view of Santa Croce – and with luck, you'll find a true favorite on the menu.

Un endroit agréable et « efficace »… l’endroit est agréable, les plats sont bons mais… en terrasse, un peu le sentiment qu’il faut aller vite pour laisser la place au suivant les plats arrivent vite et l’addition est là avant même qu’on la demande… Dommage cela a cassé le rythme d’une journée douce et lente.
