Today I came from Tokyo, my second time. The staff and guests were very friendly and I was happy. I definitely want to come back in the future!

An old-fashioned trattoria serving traditional dishes I haven't found elsewhere in Ferrara.
Average prices. You can choose one of the menus offered or go à la carte. We opted for the latter option, wanting a lighter meal.
I wasn't thrilled with my macaroni pie in shortcrust pastry, but the cold cuts and cappellacci were excellent!
For two, we spent just over €30.

Allegedly the oldest wine bar that has been continuously operating since 1435.
With seating both inside and out it is quirkily designed with various musical instruments hanging from the wall along with numerous bottles from years gone by.
We went in the afternoon and there was some wild jazz playing that added to the atmosphere.
The staff were friendly and very helpful in helping you select a suitable wine. A wide range was sold by the glass which as at June 25 was €5.
If you are a wine lover this is a must to visit. We enjoyed it a lot.

This is a historic tavern in Ferrara... It even seems to be one of the oldest in Europe... You can definitely smell the scent of the past, the food is decent but plentiful, the drinks are a bit expensive and the glasses are not always of fresh wine, in any case it is worth a visit

Historic and Authentic Atmosphere: The environment is very suggestive and exudes history. The walls are often covered with wine bottles, and the furnishings are simple and traditional. The atmosphere is welcoming and informal, almost a journey back in time.
You can opt for a complete meal with appetizer, first course, second course and dessert, or enjoy a "substantial snack" based on mixed cured meats with typical Ferrarese bread, accompanied by a good glass of wine

Questa osteria è un posto unico, un ambiente molto suggestivo: ogni singolo oggetto, bottiglia di vino, qualunque cosa ci sia tra le pareti ti cattura lo sguardo. Abbiamo pranzato scegliendo un antipasto di salumi misti e tigelle molto buoni. Per primo abbiamo preso i classici cappellacci alla zucca con burro e salvia ... strepitosi. Tutto accompagnato da un ottimo rosso di Ferrara. Consigliatissimo.
