A small, cozy little wine shop whose owner also happens to be very good at making tasty, homestyle Italian classics. Ask her for a wine recommendation, we really liked her Pinot Nero (Noir) suggestion.

Il mangiare era di buona qualità, i prezzi abbastanza alti, ma purtroppo a Como non si può pretendere troppo 😅 prezzo 46,50 € per 2 piatti e acqua, figurati se han tolto i 50 centesimi e facevano lo sconticino...classico trattamento lombardo 🤣 tre stelle quindi, non di più

I had lunch in this wine shop outside of normal hours, but I was still welcomed by the owner, who was very kind. Discrete environment, with the possibility of wine tasting.

Wine shop and restaurant. Super nice lady and very delicious food and drinks, you can sit inside or outside. We were together and for us it was a perfect ending to our first day in Como. The red house wine was our favorite.

02/12/2024: We stayed at this refuge, the food was excellent and the price was honest, the service was excellent and the staff was very kind. There are a few hairpin bends to do if you go up by car and the last bit is challenging but in the end when you are up the view is breathtaking
30/11/2024: A super quirky hidden gem. We stumbled upon this place for lunch after a hike and were pleasantly surprised. The decor and theme is very quirky, as the name suggests. We were surprised by how good (& quick) the food was. The staff are nice, and it was a great experience overall.

La Polenteria

30/08/2024: A place to absolutely try, located at the top of Brunate, right near the lighthouse, it is one of the historic activities of Como and its surroundings. It offers typical foods such as pizzoccheri and obviously various types of polenta. The prices are affordable and the portions are very generous. I liked the flavors even if I found a little too much oil for my tastes in the polenta uncia, however I recommend the one with truffle. Very friendly service, nice outdoor tables. Parking right in front of the venue.
28/08/2024: after a long time I had the opportunity to try Polenteria di Brunate, taking advantage of the presence of two friends from Abruzzo I took the opportunity to let them taste the local cuisine and it was a wonderful experience, all very good, pizzoccheri starters and polenta uncia with Bitto sausage and molten casera, spectacular, compliments to the chef and the very kind, helpful and knowledgeable staff, the house wine is also very good. we will definitely be back
