It is a type of venue that is generally not found in small towns, but only in cities.
A unique steakhouse in the Apulian area, prices obviously above average but due to the cost of the raw materials which are of an excellent level.
If you are a meat lover and want to try different cuts (there are a number of international cuts of meat here that you won't find in all the other places) it is an experience worth trying.
The meat is cooked in a charcoal oven and its flavor was very strong but truly exceptional.
The service was impeccable and the location in the historic center of Ceglie is fabulous.
Overall a place of excellence.

Very good meat and starters too. Especially the parmesan foam with porcini mushrooms. Small and welcoming place. Pleasant and relaxing atmosphere, at times even familiar. Friendly staff, they were very nice to our large dog.

Let's start from the beginning. Perfect bathroom, disposable towels, very nice. Exceptional wine list. The goodness of the very high quality meat is indescribable, but the icing on the cake is the delicious side dishes, probably the best escarole I have ever tasted in my life. Spectacular playlist and then we closed with semi-dried apricots (a chef's favorite) and a super memorable cherry. Spectacular

The Enococus - Acini&Carbone restaurant is located in the historic center of the beautiful village of Ceglie Messapica.
The internal environment is not very large, there are few tables but when the weather permits they use an external space.
The menu, obviously, focuses mainly on meat, all of high quality.
The place where they prepare the meat is visible and this is a strong point.
There's little to say about the taste, it was all delicious.
Friendly and attentive staff, fair bill for what I ate.

This grill restaurant is undoubtedly one of the best in the area. The tartare was by far the best I have ever tasted, a true example of how the choice of raw material and its processing can make the difference. The quality of the ingredients is evident and deserves great recognition. What is really striking is the passion that exudes from this place: it is one of those rare places where you go not just to eat, but to have a real culinary experience.
The atmosphere is warm, with a family atmosphere that makes you immediately feel at ease, but at the same time the service is precise and professional. The selection of meats is of the highest level, and the cooking is always perfect, performed with great skill.
Anyone who doesn't recognize the value of this place probably doesn't have the skills to appreciate the quality. The price is absolutely adequate for the offer, and reflects the care and research behind each dish. The few negative reviews that are found do not reflect reality: this is, hands down, the best grill in the area.

Devo tornarci almeno un'altra volta per mettere 5 stelle. Il posto è davvero chic senza essere presuntuoso. Il servizio e lo chef all'interno sembrano davvero gentili. La carne è semplicemente deliziosa, con il sale grosso: così saporito. È costoso? E, quando la carne è così buona, questa domanda è così importante? Non credo. Grazie alla madre delle mie figlie per avermi fatto conoscere questo posto.

15 ans déjà que nous allons régulièrement à Ceglie Messapica et il nous arrive encore d'être très agréablement surpris. Hier soir, en cherchant désespérément une table pour manger alors qu'il était déjà bien passé 21 heures 30, nous avons eu la chance de trouver une table libre chez Enococus (sans avoir réservé), un endroit que nous avions déjà repéré sans y avoir encore eu une table. Bref, un accueil souriant nous installe et nous choisissons de prendre le tartare de boeuf avec aubergine grillée en accompagnement. Petit verre de bienvenue et dégustation et arrivent nos plats. Belle présentation pour un tartare d'anthologie, le meilleur dans nos souvenirs. Accompagné d'un excellent Susumaniello que nous connaissons bien mais qui, fait rarissime, nous est servi à la juste température qui transcende ce vin. Un tiramisu et un dessert d'abricots sèchés marinés - quelle belle invention - et nous nous retrouvons à parler avec le chef d'une humilité rare. Le tout couronné d'un limoncello maison et tout cela pour un prix extrêmement raisonnable. Merci Enococus, nous reviendrons !!!
