Beautiful and delicious!
Fantastic medieval atmosphere, very nice waitress! We ate very well, there are no forks and napkins, but there are spoons and knives. There are also options for those who don't eat meat like me. In short, I can't wait to come back!!!👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼

Room decorated in medieval style with great potential! Big table just like they did in those days. I came here for dinner just last night, with a group (22/2/25). Really great and plentiful food! I had the shank (with honey or sea horse) with polenta and some delicious fried gnocchi. Compliments to the chefs! You absolutely must accompany everything with Ippocras wine or a nice glass of Cervisia beer! The hippocras is fabulous and delicate and I say this as not much of a wine lover. The owners, charismatic and also dressed in theme, entertain well! I loved making toasts and shouting “skal!!” and then swallow the beer! Not to mention the background music (the ones from The Witcher 3 have also passed). Already recommended to friends and I will definitely be back! I can't imagine how much cooler it could be if you were to buy an inn, slightly outside of Turin, complete with land outside that you can use for further entertainment!

Beautiful medieval themed venue, super original and with a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
For enthusiasts it's a must! The cuisine is constantly updated following the original medieval recipes of the area and the restaurant is carefully decorated; it really feels like being in a medieval tavern.
Drago and Dany, the innkeeper and landlady, are super nice and helpful; it's always a pleasure to have a chat with them.
For a few years now it has been among our favorite places in Turin.

The experience at Emporium Infernalis was mostly positive, however I feel like leaving a few notes.
Let's start with the food: good, but nothing exceptional. The names on the menu were more appealing than what the dish turned out to be.
I would have liked to find a nice bread made of raw flour and seeds, instead of the classic supermarket baguette, but it doesn't matter.
The drinks are very interesting, all made by them and definitely in line with the idea that one could make of what was drunk in past times.
The welcome was positive, the owners were friendly and spent a few minutes exchanging a few words without ever seeming excessive or intrusive.
The atmosphere was also beautiful, as a fan of dimly lit places I particularly appreciated feeling for once in authentic "candlelight".
Let's move on to the negative things.
The music volume was too loud.
Aside from the fact that there are much more tavern-themed playlists out there, I had trouble making conversation with the person in front of me.
It didn't feel like being in a nightclub, but in my opinion a place should think in terms of conviviality, putting aside tastes and personal perception on the tolerability of the volume.
The owners aim to align as much as possible with elements that can boast historical accuracy, but even here there are problems.
I find that abolishing the use of forks when there is no shortage of references to the occult inside the place (the name of the place speaks for itself) is a contradiction that only customers pay for, as does the lack of napkins when there are canned drinks and electric heaters.
It's a decidedly interesting initiative that I don't feel like penalizing, but the approach should be adjusted a bit in terms of coherence.
We were informed that the menu will no longer include potatoes to continue in this direction, and yet I believe that potatoes are the last thing to worry about (especially taking into account the fact that fantasy imagery has shaped our perception of "the Middle Ages" and a potato soup would probably shock less than a metal piece in the background).
I leave 4 stars because I really like the initiative and there is a lot of passion behind it, and the drinks alone are worth a visit.
