22/09/2024: Typical Roman restaurant. Good home cooking

15/09/2024: I found this nice restaurant by chance, after a motorbike visit to Lake Paterno (a must see) on a beautiful windy but sunny day. The atmosphere is family-style and the cuisine is Roman/homemade. The owner is very helpful and really nice, so even if you are a solitary biker you will feel at home and no one will rush you during lunch! As soon as I sat down I was brought an appetizer which was enough: tomato bruschetta, beans with pork rinds, meatballs with mushroom sauce (excellent) and a basket of bread. I then continued with a carbonara... a truly generous and tasty portion, cooked very well, the kind that gives you satisfaction. All accompanied by house red wine (for meals), not bad, water, bitters and coffee. As far as I understand, most of the raw materials come from local businesses practically adjacent to the venue. Overall, I will definitely go back. They also have live music on the weekend from what I understand. If you pass through these parts and want to feel at home, this restaurant is the right place in my opinion. 10 out of 10 for the friendliness and hospitality of the owner and for the kindness of the girls who serve the tables! How much did I pay? I'm not saying that :)
