At the suggestion of one person, and driven by the numerous positive reviews, I had lunch in this restaurant during my short stay in Bologna. I must say that the expectations, although very high, were more than satisfied and the plates were almost completely cleaned at the end of the meal. I was the test. Exceptional food, and very good service. I recommend it to anyone when in Bologna and I will definitely return.

We were somewhat disappointed with our recent dinner here after reading all the recent euphoric reviews. The food was ok, but not more. My duck breast was somewhat overdone, with just a hint of pink - tasty, and still juicy, but less time in the oven would have been better. The sauce was bland, as was the bed of spinach. The accompanying roast potatoes were soft and without much flavor.
My wife's meatballs with tomato sauce were also bland. She spiced them up with a few drops of balsamico.
The staff was friendly without being especially attentive.
On the whole this is a lenient 4 stars; I would score it 3.7 if I could.

Best restaurant we been to in Bologna, food is just delicious. We took classics lasagna and tagliatelle bolognese and it is just like it supposed to be. For secondi we chose duck and tartare and it was perfect. Staff is very young but professional and atmosphere is great. Restaurant is full all the time, reservations is probably necessary. We already recommended to friends.

I went to this restaurant at midday during a family trip to Bologna. The welcome was pleasant straight away. The place is all in style. The service was quick and courteous. Bring subscription and quality. An experience to try during a pleasant visit to beautiful Bologna!

Its really hard, because the standard of Italian Cuisine and Service is hard to match! Everytime we go someplace else we compare the food to Vamolino!
The best Lasagna! The Local wine was wonderful and the Service was GREAT!
Really loved going here and would go back at any chance we might get:)

Excellent restaurant in the center of Bologna but in a rather quiet street.
The atmosphere and the place is tastefully furnished.
The menu is short but the offer is excellent.
Fantastic quality of food and prices also in line.
Very friendly and fast service.

If I could I would give 6 stars! Delicious food (TOP tagliatelle and lasagna), friendly and helpful staff, characteristic environment (not a small detail: very well-kept bathroom!) and prices that are not exaggerated. Try the house bitters. I will definitely be back!

Unusually for Italy, this restaurant offers vegetarian main courses (secondi). The food (including the vegetarian selection) was excellent. Very good and pleasant restaurant. Courteous service.
