02/06/2025: La Zagara in Positano is a truly charming place that offers a wonderful dining experience, especially if you appreciate authentic Italian cuisine and a cozy atmosphere. Their pizza is outstanding – the perfectly crispy crust, fresh ingredients and rich flavor make it one of the best choices in Positano. But what really impressed me was their Fettuccine alla Bolognese. The pasta is perfectly al dente, and the sauce is rich, deep-flavored and prepared with love, a true testament to tradition. One of the biggest advantages of La Zagara is their terrace, which is in natural shade. On hot summer days in Positano, this is invaluable. You can enjoy your meal without worrying about the sun, surrounded by pleasant greenery. Although you may have to wait a little for a seat, especially in season, this is actually a good sign – it shows how popular and appreciated the restaurant is. Patience pays off! All in all, La Zagara offers a combination of excellent food, a pleasant atmosphere and beautiful natural shade, making it an ideal choice for lunch or dinner in Positano. Highly recommended for anyone who wants to experience a true taste of Italy!

29/05/2025: I cannot express how wonderful of dining experience we had with La Zagara! The food was delicious! We shared a caprese salad and then my wife had a perfectly cooked Seabass (filleto di spigola al limone) and I had the La Sfiziosa pizza, all delicious and exactly what we were looking for. The star of the show was the people, because my god they were the most hospitable and pleasant people we’ve talked to on our trip through Italy. We met the owner and her family, she was the quintessential Italian mother full of love and good stories! In addition we were served by an incredibly kind young man named Alphonso. Who set the tone for our meal and at the end gave us a shot a fennel digestif liqueur and then a shot of herbed amaro. Lastly, the view of Positano at night in their garden dining terrace was gorgeous. I highly recommend stopping by for a good meal and incredibly kind people!
