Everything was truly excellent. From the beautiful venue to the kind and professional staff to the truly delicious food.

I'd actually like to leave a review of the brand new Tortuga Bakery, which opened just yesterday. A welcoming place with a small space for a good coffee... I bought bread, pizza, and the legendary Tortuga cookies, which I think many have already tried. I recommend the delicately flavored orange ones, and for those with a sweet tooth, there are obviously the dual-flavored ones...vanilla and chocolate. Another new addition is the jam, 100% artisanal...blackberry and mulberry, truly amazing. I wish I could find something I didn't like, but unfortunately, I enjoyed EVERYTHING, hahaha. So, best of luck to Angela and Antonio on this new adventure.

The food was really good, well-prepared and flavorful, and you could tell the kitchen put a lot of care into it. Unfortunately, the service was quite slow, not due to the staff but to the organization: only one waitress handled all the orders, while others were just taking the dishes. With more balanced management of the dining room, the experience would be much better, because the potential is there.

I've been to this place several times, drawn by the mastery with which the pizza is crafted, with flavor combinations that make it even more delicious, as well as the base, which I believe contains special wheat flours. I love the Roman base, which is offered on the menu as an alternative to the modern one if specifically requested. Previous times, The staff who took our orders asked us which base we preferred, but this time we were asked if we had any food intolerances or allergies. Despite the fact that we would have been happy to report the issue, the question deterred us from ordering the Roman base. About 15 minutes after ordering, I mentioned the oversight to another waiter, who immediately went to the pizzeria to ask if there was still time, but he returned disappointedly to report that the pizzas were already well underway. I simply said that I was disappointed because I had brought my guests there specifically to enjoy the excellent Roman base and that they could have reminded us of this when ordering. The person who had taken my order returned to my table and pointed out that the menu clearly stated that we should have indicated a preference. Now, considering that what he said is relatively correct, I find the complaint made to me utterly unprofessional. Until that point, I hadn't pointed out that I was going to eat a pizza I didn't like, which I later did, because my initial lack of tact in asking for a preference for the base escalated into an argument with a customer who, despite herself and acknowledging her mistake, had allowed herself to make a small complaint. That said, I'll continue to praise the pizza, but I won't be returning to that restaurant because of the insensitive manner of the person who handled my order. Remember, the service is paid.

The food was very good, but there was a lack of respect when paying. We went to pay, and the cashier, unconcerned and telling us to hurry up, gave us a less than pleasant end to the meal.
