A historic pastry shop, where you are always welcomed with a smile. The products are always excellent and fresh. The breakfasts are real breakfasts, made with donuts, croissants with jams, pistachios, vegan, grandma's cakes, bull's eyes and more. The aperitifs are also rich and are not limited to two chips and some peanuts. An experience worth trying.

Sometimes one travels, tries places and reports reviews, forgetting the excellences close to home... I frequented this pastry shop at least 40 or more years ago, and I perfectly remember some of the flavors and specialties, such as the sacripantina: among the 'etymological' ones, I would dare say the best in Genoa! what left me completely amazed was finding that same taste again after a long time!! The guys who run the place today, despite their age, have that 'material' of the traders of yesteryear: courtesy, attention, availability; but above all they have been able to collect a precious tradition while maintaining quality at very high levels, without overreaching the prices! an example? the brioches cost the same as those in the surrounding bakeries but, believe me, in terms of assortment and preparation there is just no comparison! I put the sumptuous Christmas windows in the photos, but I recommend trying the place in everyday life: a coffee, a sweet treat, pastries at parties, a cake for special occasions... it will become a trusted reference :)
