Rustic place where there is no written menu, there is already water and wine on the table and the meat is truly out of this world. There were 4 of us and we spent €95 to eat a lot of meat (grilled meat platter, grilled vegetables and cheese), 2 desserts and 2 coffees.

A great place to eat, discovered by chance while searching the area. 5 of us had lunch at the comfortable tables outside, with a nice cool atmosphere despite the hot day. Kind and fast service, spectacular first courses with porcini mushrooms and venison ragù. Average draft beer. Even if you won't be presented with a menu, the prices are excellent: we spent €78 with 5 first courses, two of which were for children, water, wine, beers, two side dishes, cheeses and a plate of sausages and mushrooms.

Excellent, really. We took a first course each. I have very good tagliatelle with mushrooms. The second course was two courses of mixed grill with salad, which were enough for all three. 3 bottles of house wine (good) coffee and coffee killer. €30 each. I would have paid up to €40 without questioning the quality and quantity. Very characteristic location. Nice place recommended

Just one word: Fabulous. Informal menu dictated by the owner or by the waiters, all always courteous. Mountain setting, outdoor and indoor tables. The first courses are delicious and very fragrant (mushrooms rather than venison, duck). The jewel in the crown is the super barbecue of tasty meat, well cooked and containing chicken, sliced ​​meat, sausage, roasted cheese and chips. Water, wine, bread at the table and generous portions. Super bill for what you ate and drank.

The best restaurant in the valley hands down. Exceptional first courses from pappardelle with porcini mushrooms to venison tagliatelle. The sensational meat platter. All seasoned with the genuine professionalism of Marco and his family. Excellent quality of each product.

El Taier is an extraordinary experience that will surely exceed any of your expectations. Welcomed by an informal and familiar atmosphere, you immediately feel at home. A journey into local flavours, revisited by the expert mastery of the chef, will give you an unparalleled culinary journey. Each dish is presented with authenticity without frills, enhancing the excellent quality raw materials. The strong point is certainly the meat Taier which will satisfy any palate but no less the proposal of the first courses which are one better than the other (we tried them all!!!). Reservation is absolutely necessary as it is really difficult to find a free place because it is always full. Pet friendly venue.

Overall experience ok without more. There were three dishes to choose from, due to the note on google of the place we mistakenly thought they would be exceptional, we choose the typical Taier and they bring us a selection of various meats without asking for the cooking point together with salad, grilled cheese and potatoes fried When we finish they don't offer us dessert but coffee. All together €50 for two people including the aperitif.

The food was spectacular. Best Italian food we’ve had so far. Extremely well priced and would highly recommend for anyone that is driving through the Alps. This has been the highlight of all food throughout Europe. And the service was great just nod to any dishes they ask for. Can’t go wrong.

19/08/2024: Sono stato in questa malga per il compleanno di mia figlia, al telefono avevo chiesto, non conoscendo il posto, se era possibile non aver fretta o dover lasciare il posto ad altri, e subito mi hanno risposto che potevo rimanere quanto volevo. Abbiamo cominciato con i formaggi sia freschi che stagionati accompagnati da marmellate gustose e poi con gli affettati, anche quelli accompagnati da verdurine. Poi siamo passati ai primi e ci ha spiegato come erano fatti e ce li ha fatti assaggiare tutti, favolosi. Poi siamo passati ai secondi e anche qui ne abbiamo assaggiati diversi dalla costata alle costicine di capretto ai formaggi e così via. Tutti i piatti oltre ad essere favolosi hanno un tocco di preparazione che si vede la classe del cuoco. Poi ci si sente bene perché puoi chiedere e ti spiegano i piatti, veramente hospitali. Poi per finire abbiamo preso i dolci sul tavolo fuori. Veramente tutto bene sono rimasto più che contento e ci tornerò.
29/07/2024: We stayed with some friends, the place is very nice, run by a simple, honest and hard-working family. The things they offer are of excellent quality. They are produced by them with great love. Cheeses have an irresistible flavor for me. They prepare first courses with care and delicious flavour. The cured meats and second courses are equally delicious. Their level is very high. Well done. I recommend everyone to go there to try these flavors.
