I have often frequented both the restaurant and the taqueria for 20 years now: it is always a pleasure for quality and courtesy.

One of the few places open late in Carrara.

I had fond memories of this restaurant from several years ago, better dishes were served both in taste and quality, we waited a long time for our dishes, the environment has not changed. Disappointed.

My experience at La Plaza-El Rey is (as always) a confirmation of how phenomenal their cuisine is, with a menu full of a vast variety of sensational dishes that satisfy different tastes and preferences. Not to mention the owners who immediately make you feel at home and their attentive, competent and friendly staff.🥰

Very well-stocked and equipped restaurant also for celiac customers, a not so frequent element for an ethnic restaurant. The staff is very kind and trained in the dietary needs of celiac customers and always works with the kitchen to leave nothing to chance. The choice on the menu is vast and full of typical Mexican dishes; the dishes are really very good and the portions are rich. The kindness and courtesy of the dining room staff was also greatly appreciated. The restaurant is located in Avenza and abroad there are parking spaces so you can easily leave your car along the main road or in side streets. Advised!

I can't make any judgments on Mexican cuisine because I don't know it, but I certainly ate well, drank excellent draft beer in an informal, welcoming place and praise for the waitresses: always with a smile and super. Nice evening.
