El Portego In Vo'

I attended the presentation evening for Veneto regional presidential candidate Riccardo Szumki on October 7th. Everything was very well organized, starting with the aperitif, which was delicious, and then following the speakers from the garden with a top-notch audio and video system. Congratulations to the entire Portego staff for the organization!

Nice location, a renovated former barn with a rustic porch, although close to the road but perfectly camouflaged with a small adjacent park, good and quality food, kind and fast service, abundant and tasty dishes.

Lunch on the last Sunday of August with my family, we ate very well and paid a fair price. We'll be back.

Truly excellent cuisine and generous portions! Friendly and helpful staff. Prices are appropriate for the location. Tables on the large terrace with open windows. The heat and flies are a bit of a problem.

I was there on Sunday for a confirmation. I won't go into detail about the beautiful location, with its ample parking, park, and restaurant (clean and well-appointed) because they've already been extensively covered in other reviews. I'll focus instead on the delicious food (all home-made), the impeccable table service, the excellent quality of the wines from the hills, and the diners' overwhelming satisfaction at having lunch in a restaurant worthy of the best Euganean Hills tradition. - The appetizer of savory vegetable pie accompanied by sopressa and high-quality prosciutto; - The herb risotto (perfectly cooked and divine) and the bigoli with duck sauce that will leave you speechless; - The artisanal sorbet ice cream; - The suckling pig with pink peppercorns served with a side of baked potatoes and mixed grilled vegetables; - Dessert and sparkling wine, coffee and elixir (limoncello or licorice with the inevitable ice cube). All dishes are available with seconds. But what more could you want, at a reasonable price, than the quantity and quality of the dishes, wines, and soft drinks served. Here, you can sense that the demanding and difficult work of catering is carried out with pleasure and true passion, not only for profit, but also to give others the gift of their creativity and professionalism, and that's how the results are of a very high standard. ABSOLUTELY FOR GOURMETS.

Gorgeous place and exceptional food. I had the pepper steak, it's a must-try! But what really makes the difference is Mrs. Anna, the owner. A person with a heart of gold who made us feel at home. Thank you so much!

Place suggested by chance. Located in the heart of the Euganean Hills, elegant and refined place. Attentive service, fast and attentive to detail as well as being very courteous with the customer, Very, very good food both in quality and quantity, they have found an excellent point in satisfying the customer. Normal prices for the area but very convenient compared to other places. I celebrated my wedding anniversary in peace and we found everything we wanted there. I will definitely return many more times to try the other courses. Ps: the kitchen and service are very attentive even with those who are Celiac. What can I say... Recommended place.
