El Peyote In Roma

Yesterday I told my wife I wanted to eat something different than usual, so after some online research, we decided on this Mexican restaurant! I went with my wife, daughter, and my parents, and we couldn't have made a better choice. Gianmarco, the owner, took our order, and we asked him if he could help us choose, since we didn't know much about Mexican food. Well, he took us on a fantastic gastronomic journey! We loved everything he brought us; he's incredibly kind and his preparation is extraordinary! The spiciness was just right, and everyone could eat it, and for those who want it, they bring really spicy sauces. But it doesn't end there... the pizza (I ordered one to try) and the desserts were also spectacular. Truly a fantastic discovery. However, there's a sore point... I'm leaving for Kenya for three months now and won't be able to return anytime soon, but we'll definitely see each other as soon as I get back!

We visited this restaurant without a reservation, and it was packed, but the very kind owner told us to wait 10 minutes while they re-prepared our table. Since I've never eaten Mexican food, the owner recommended some dishes I personally enjoyed, and since I don't eat cheese, they made them without. I always love going back, and the pizza is excellent too. Definitely worth a try...

A place with a beautiful atmosphere and attention to detail. Excellent, friendly, and fast service; the staff are very friendly and helpful in explaining the dishes. To conclude the review, but with the most important point... the food... excellent, distinctive... come with the desire to try it and you will be satisfied!

The place is in a somewhat secluded area, but once inside, there's a nice atmosphere, quaint without being kitsch. The staff was all friendly and helpful, the service was quick, and the place was clean. Given these excellent premises, it's a shame I can't give the food a higher rating. Compared to a few years ago, they've added a good third of the menu to Italian food (mostly pizzas), and beyond this choice—which I don't agree with but can understand the reasons for—I must say I also found the Mexican dishes very Italianized, too much so, a waitress even said this to "reassure" a couple of customers near us. I didn't find any authentic flavors, plus everything was too greasy and fatty (e.g., putting mayonnaise on a dish already made with pork and fried bacon), the flavors were muddled, and the ingredients were of average quality. I think I've had one of the worst guacamoles I've ever had, so much so that I left it practically untouched. The only dish I really enjoyed, I must say, was the nachos, which seemed homemade, crispy, not greasy or overly salty. We struggled to finish the rest, and it kept coming back for hours (and no, I don't normally have digestive issues). In any case, the portions were generous, especially considering the low prices. Reluctantly—given the ambiance, staff, and cost—I doubt we'll return.

Not knowing much about Mexican cuisine, I asked for help choosing the dishes...but that was a wiser decision. Everything was really good! Congratulations!

Characteristic place with a strong identity. The environment is welcoming, clean and pleasantly particular with its paintings on the walls, ceilings and Mexican themed objects. The food is very good and well presented, it can truly be defined as a Mexican restaurant. The pizzas are also excellent and the staff friendly and professional. I recommend it very much.

I had dinner last night with my son, we found this place on the internet and given the many positive reviews we wanted to try it. At 8.30pm the place was quite crowded, which is still a good sign I would say, I had booked a table and actually the reservation was excellent. Typical place, excellent service, excellent food and fair price, I congratulate you because everything, absolutely everything, was precise, including the waiting times which I thought were longer considering it was full of customers and instead I changed my mind. You can see that they do their job out of passion. BRAVI It's really worth it, I'll take the liberty of recommending it and we'll definitely be back.
