El Merendero In Como

Had a couple of business lunches and dinners there. We were always treated well and pampered. Great selection of appetizers, first courses, meat, and fish. Recommended for any occasion.

The best pizza restaurant in Como. Excellent ingredients and generous portions. Unquestionable quality. Great prices and friendly, welcoming wait staff. Perfect.

Despite the busy lunchtime rush, we received our food quite quickly. The red wine was a bit of a disappointment; it was forgotten… But that's okay, because the waitress made every effort, including searching the storeroom to ensure the red Chianti we ordered was at room temperature (Italian: ambiente). The pasta was delicious. The best spaghetti with seafood I've had this trip. I highly recommend it 🦐🍷🦐🍷🦐

We were looking for a restaurant, and this one is perfect. Incredible views of the Como River and the mountains. The food was delicious, although the plates are quite large. We tried to eat everything, but some people left their entire plates empty. The atmosphere was great, although there were lots of pigeons and wasps, but they kept chasing them away. It's perfectly central, so it's ideal for a walk along the river after lunch.

Excellent food, very generous orders, we had an aperitif with a cutting board, we practically ate more than if we had had lunch thanks to the chef

We arrived hungry and dehydrated, and the blonde, curly-haired waitress pretended not to understand the simple word "water," even though we said it first in English and then translated it into Italian, and she never brought us anything. All staff is very welcoming. We had spaghetti with seafood, pizza and chicken salad. They are all very good. And beer is fresh cold too.
