We had different dishes. The pizzas were good, but the pasta was very al dente. We always had to wait a long time for service. Unfortunately, the small alley in which the restaurant is located does not invite you to linger comfortably. Price performance was okay.

Seating inside and out. I sat with a friend who ate; they enjoyed their sandwich and fries. The service was a little slow, but very friendly and helpful. They offered to store our luggage. Had bathrooms.

The restaurant is located a little further from the embankment, but there is still a view of the lake. The wait team is friendly and attentive. The waiters also speak English and are very polite. But I have a comment for the cook: we ordered spaghetti carbonara - what they brought us in a plate is very different from the classic recipe - the egg is already mixed with the spaghetti, there is practically no parmesan - they lightly decorated the edge of the plate with it, but not for the taste . Also in the Caesar salad, the chicken pieces were overcooked and dry, and the sauce was also not enough. In general, we were not happy with the dinner. Thanks to the good work of the waiters, I'm only taking off one star.

It is overall a great place. The service was not very pleasant. The staff couldn't speak English, which is actually really frustrating nowadays. Our waitress wasn't the sharpest knife in the drawer, she wasn't really helpful. The food was really great though and we didn't have to wait long. The prices are pretty good, compared to other restaurants with a good food like this.

Hemingway Cocktail Bar and Restaurant

13/04/2024: Die Getränke waren ausgezeichnet und wir bekamen sogar eine grosse Snackplatte kostenlos dazu. Das Ambiente war toll, wir können die Cocktailbar sehr empfehlen.
03/03/2024: Di solito andiamo all'Hemingway in estate all'aperto, perché sono bravissimi a fare i cocktail. Ieri sera abbiamo provato ad andare nel locale all'interno: bellissimo e d'atmosfera. Eravamo seduti su 2 poltroncine basse in pelle con un tavolino con abat jour e 2 libri di Hemingway. Cocktail sempre curatissimi e dosati alla perfezione. Chi critica i prezzi non capisce il lavoro che c'è dietro e non ha mai provato ad andare nei locali milanesi.
