Discovered thanks to the always excellent Slow Food guide, this place perfectly embodies its spirit. Exquisite food, local ingredients, and a fair price. The casoncelli were excellent, the strachi parat was sublime, and off-menu there was a superb butcher's cotechino. The dessert was also good, but it was a shame we were offered the torta di rose, but it was sold out. Friendly, no-frills service. Well done.

Small but very welcoming, warm, and spotlessly clean place with knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful staff. The dishes I tasted were simple but traditionally Brescian, excellent, and of the highest quality. I'll definitely be back. Congratulations, truly excellent!

Passion for traditional Brescian cuisine, truly "zero kilometer" (locally sourced) through a network of local producers.
Excellent appetizers, such as "licensì" and "contadino," beef in oil, sweet and sour pork tenderloin, and bigoli with cooked salami and bagoss ragù.
The single "torta di rose" and "mono Bossolà" (traditional Italian pasta sauce) options, garnished with real zabaglione, are wonderful.
Excellent wine cellar.
Excellent local products in the shop at the back.
The setting is magnificent, with furniture, cabinets, utensils, and tools like those of my grandparents.
The owners are empathetic and professional, and they love good traditional cuisine.
