Amazing experience, the food is authentic which is hard to find in Rome and the atmosphere was fun with a lot of cool music. The seats where a bit uncomfortable but I guess it worth it!

The only real authentic Mexican food in Rome! My boyfriend is Mexican and when he wants to eat like at home we always come here, even though we have tried many other Mexican restaurants in the city, this is really the only one that maintains the flavors and recipes of authentic Mexican cuisine! The staff is always very friendly, the prices are fair, the atmosphere like that of a taqueria in Mexico. You can't book so I recommend going early in the evening. You can also buy Mexican food in their mini market! The tacos are one better than the other and their cost is €3.50. There are also many other excellent typical dishes. Highly recommended!

Five stars because it's exactly what I was looking for: informal, tasty, pretty authentic and fairly priced. A variety of Mexican dishes on simple outdoor tables with high stools and cold beer. Friendly staff and quick service. Recommended!

Very tasty Mexican cuisine that combines the freshness of the ingredients with the spicy element (pay attention to the amount of spicy sauce that accompanies the tacos). Excellent quality/price ratio.

One of my most cherished Mexican restaurants in Italy. I sincerely hope that many self-proclaimed Mexican restaurant owners in Italy would venture to experience the authentic flavors of Mexican cuisine rather than their abysmal interpretations of TexMex. Having visited over eight establishments labeled as “Mexican restaurants” across Italy, I have consistently encountered subpar food and attempts to market it as authentic Mexican cuisine, all of which have fallen short of the mark. In contrast, this establishment stands as a testament to the true essence of Mexican culture and food. The horchata was exceptionally good, complemented by the carne asada tacos and quesadillas. I am content with the current offerings but wished that they would also have burritos on their menu. I highly recommend the tres leches cake. They also operate a little grocery store across the restaurant with the same hours of the restaurant.

Definitely deserves 5 stars. The taste of the food is authentically Mexican. I recommend it 100%. I personally thanked its owner for the courage to bring this concept to Europe. Thanks for being there!

Abbiamo optato per questo locale, all'interno del mercato Irnerio sulla via Aurelia, per assaggiare le specialità messicane. Abbiamo cenato seduti a un tavolo all'aperto, un tavolo piccolino, su sedie-sgabelli alti: soluzione non certo comodissima ma se ci si adatta, sintonizzandosi con l'anima dell'esercizio in questione, si bypassa facilmente il "problema". Il personale è molto cordiale, i prezzi modici e la proposta gastronomica gradevole. Abbiamo cominciato con dei nachos, poi siamo passati ai tacos e alla gringas "bistec", per concludere un buon dolce tipico. Se si vuole provare la cucina messicana una visita a El Jalapeno ci sta tutta.
