We were looking for Mexican food in Rome and found this place. The food was very good and the service was excellent. We had a good time talking to the owner and she was from the same town in Mexico my father in law was from. I highly recommend this place and will definitely be coming back when I visit Rome again.

Truly authentic Mexican food, a delightful discovery at Mercato Irnerio! Authentic flavors, perfectly seasoned, and incredibly fresh ingredients. You can taste the care and passion in every dish, from the tortillas to the fillings, all prepared according to tradition. Be wary of other places that claim to be Mexican! They also have a small shop with typical products.

The tacos are real Mexican...the flavor of the "tortilla" is really good...I recommend the tacos al pastor...the only problem is the small place.

As a tourist from the u.s., this place was such a fun and delicious surprise in rome. I tried three different tacos and every one of them was amazing. Our group loved everything we got. We are from a town with a lot of mexican food and this measures up and then some! The flavors were fresh and everything was made really well. We also got horchata, which was so good and super refreshing. They had a bar, coffee options, and the food came out quickly. great atmosphere and definitely a place i would come back to.

The food was good the meat was tender the veggies were good and everything was well seasoned. I ordered a beef taco, a veggie taco, and a cochinita pibil taco. I did love the veggie taco although i expected to see the flor de calabaza like it said in the menu. I just saw corn and squash. The beef taco was great, the meat was tender, nice and juicy. The pibil taco had too much of a certain seasoning that i did not enjoy. The tortillas were store bought ones. The kind that get cold and hard easily. I also orderd agua de jamaica which was not bad. I loved that it was no super sweet. The taco salsa was yummy. I missed spicy foods.

What a great place! The tacos are incredible, the shop is wonderful. It's been months since I've had Fuego chips and horchata, and it was so nice to have a delicious Mexican horchata. The giant tacos with amazing tortillas were fantastic. I left feeling so happy. 55 euros for 12 tacos and some Fuego chips—expensive? Well, not compared to Rome. It's worth it because every bite is bursting with flavor. So delicious!
