"A delicious meal makes life so much better." - Quote from my friend after enjoying your swordfish. ;) My pizza was also delicious, and the honey with the tea was an unexpected but pleasant surprise. The fresh bread we were served was also a nice touch. The service was truly attentive and courteous. If we're ever in Modica again, we'll definitely come back! :)

Although it's late, I feel compelled to give a proper review of the pizza I enjoyed here. Excellent in its simplicity, with bold flavors and a very light dough: a white base with mozzarella, prosciutto, parmesan shavings, arugula, and cherry tomatoes, and finally a phenomenally flavorful oil. All thanks to the pizza chef and the choice of ingredients, and kudos to the entire staff for their friendliness. Highly recommended.

A restaurant that, luckily for us, didn't close for a siesta/lunch break. We had been exploring Modica and around 1 p.m. we got hungry. We had water and a glass of wine. As a starter, I ordered pasta with fresh mushrooms and pistachios in a light sauce. It was truly delicious, but I wanted Parmesan on half of it and asked for it, which was brought to me immediately. So, in the end, about two spoonfuls of sauce remained on the plate, as sometimes happens. Of course, I didn't want to eat it with a spoon, but rather soak it up with bread and then eat it. But I didn't have any. So I asked the owner again, since she was on shift, and explained my wish for one or two slices of bread, holding the plate while she cleared it. She was briefly startled that a tourist was holding onto what was essentially an empty plate, then she smiled and left. For a moment, I thought she had forgotten me. But then she came back with freshly baked bread, straight from the oven. A dream with the remaining sauce. Bravo! We also had two pizzas, one salami and one bresaola, which were also perfect. Since I was so impressed with the service, we let them persuade us to order a tiramisu. I asked if it would be freshly prepared, and they said yes, and it was, as you could see. It wasn't just taken out of a mold, but freshly prepared as individual portions. The best I've ever had in a restaurant, honestly. They also served espresso, which was good too. 👍 €54 without tip, a great price. I highly recommend it. If I'm ever in Modica again, I'll definitely go back. Thank you!
