Eden In Chioggia

A little disappointing as the meal started well with 2 tasty starters. Then around 9:30 pm on (Saturday night) the waiter asked us if we were ready for the Primi pasta course as the kitchen was soon closing! When the main course arrived it was obvious that it had been cooked earlier and kept warm as the fish and sea food were dry and lost most of their flavour. Apart from the main course the rest of the food was good quality and enjoyable.

Recommended by some lively local gentlemen. The place is very small but friendly, warm, and welcoming. The offerings are limited and closely tied to the local area. Here, quality is evident, and you rightly pay for it. Reservations are highly recommended.

A restaurant recommended to us by an acquaintance. We called in the afternoon and they immediately confirmed a table for the evening of December 31st, which was by no means a given. The unique fish-based menu was excellent and well-curated from start to finish. Wide variety of dishes and very little waiting time between courses. A delightful evening, one we will fondly remember. Unfortunately, we don't have any photos of the dishes because, as is rare, we forgot to take them, but they were truly exquisite, even visually pleasing. I'd also be curious to meet the clown who had the courage to give only one star for the same evening and the same menu as us, instead of having the honesty to complain, if absolutely necessary, to the owner directly.

Small and cozy seafood restaurant. Excellent quality food at a fair price. All dishes are above average in terms of quantity.

A pearl in the center of Chioggia

We went for dinner on Sunday, November 2nd, and had a wonderful meal. The owner, Mattia, was very friendly and helpful, not to mention the chef, Andrea Tiozzo, a name you can trust (he's my cousin, and I'm proud of that) both in terms of his friendliness and his dishes. Everything was delicious, with a presentation that was both eye-catching and palate-pleasing. The value for money rivals the best restaurants in Venice and the surrounding area. The dishes were generous and the prices were very reasonable. If you ever find yourself in Chioggia, believe me, treat yourself to a treat—and more—at Trattoria Eden, and from a true ciosota, it's priceless.
