Impromptu lunch in this place not far from the historic center. Ordered first courses and meat, with generous portions and prices that were decidedly lower than lunches in the city. Fairly quick service with very friendly staff.

I was there completely out of season with the town completely deserted. Thank you for the welcome. Mushroom gnocchi good although not exciting, good gricia but a little overcooked. Good appetizers. Easy parking, quick and friendly service. Large and comfortable environment

Not only for its stunning location, immersed in the natural beauty of the Rieti hills, crafted with simplicity and elegance, but also for its truly delicious cuisine, made with expertly prepared, high-quality ingredients. Papilla combines attention to the local area, research, and curiosity: the result is interesting, fun, delicious, and authentic dishes. I recommend the fish appetizers. The service deserves special mention: attentive to customer needs and meticulous. The price is truly more than fair. Well done.

26/10/2025: Sunday lunch. First course, second course, side dish, water, coffee, and tozzetti. 20 euros each! Everything was delicious. A place from another era. I highly recommend it.
23/09/2025: A small restaurant located in the center of Rieti, I believe, family-run, you can breathe in the old flavors. The service is a little slow but the goodness of the dishes is there, then the low prices give that tolerance to slowness. Thanks, I've already been twice and the quality is the same. Well done.
