My wife and I spent a truly wonderful holiday in a truly spiritual place, surrounded by greenery, pampered by friendly, helpful staff, and savoring high-quality dishes prepared with locally sourced produce and seasoned with a prized ravece. A special thanks to the ever-present owner, Dr. Gianfranco Testa.

I went with friends and had a great time with dishes that were different from the usual ones....the only thing I have to say is that after the first course we were left alone for a while and the second courses arrived cold.

It's truly spectacular. I got the menu with a first and second course, and everything was delicious. They also give you a starter and dessert. I left feeling uneasy, but for 20 euros, it's fantastic.

Very nice place. Very reasonable prices, frequently changing menus with limited choices to keep prices low and ingredients fresh. Typical dishes revisited and very good. Friendly and attentive service.

We had dinner at È Cucina Leopardi choosing the surprise menu, available next to the à la carte menu. A pleasant experience, but without any real peaks: we left full and quite satisfied, but not with an immediate desire to return. The place has a very informal, almost domestic feel: not particularly cared for in the details, with some corners that perhaps would not pass a check by the ASL, but the atmosphere is relaxed and the service is decidedly friendly. A special mention goes to Giuseppe, the waiter: young, polite, attentive, he looked after us throughout the dinner with kindness and professionalism. For the appetizer I had tuna tartare, tomato gazpacho, courgette chips and four cubes of melon, an element that however seemed a bit forced in the context. My friend, who does not eat fish, received an alternative with Fassona tartare served on warm apple cream, accompanied by roasted aubergine, parmesan flakes and green beans. The first course, a sort of “liquid lasagna” with cream of potatoes and asparagus, was the least successful dish: an interesting idea, but the execution was a bit heavy and not very centered, with a feeling of a reheated dish. The second course, roulade of cockerel and sausage with green beans, was well cooked but lacking in energy, also penalized by the repetition of the same ingredients as the appetizer. The bread, on the other hand, was one of the strong points of the dinner: nettles, artisanal breadsticks, white and red focaccia, all homemade and served generously. The dessert was presented in a trio: chocolate Pistocchi cake, zuppa inglese and ricotta zuccotto with strawberry cream and passion fruit. Delicious and well-measured, with the chocolate cake clearly ahead of the rest. It ended well. The owner, probably also a chef, seems passionate about ceramics; many dishes are made by him, and the environment reflects a certain personal vision, a creative touch that sometimes remains a bit rough. In short, an honest dinner, with good will and generous portions, but that does not leave a mark. We took two tasting menus, four 33 ml Menabrea and two small glass bottles of water, for a total of 80 euros.

I often and very willingly return for lunch to É cucina, a point of reference that I am very fond of. The formula of the daily menus to choose from manages to guarantee reasonable prices in the face of a quality of the dishes served that is always surprising, with generous and very well-prepared portions. The service guys are very courteous and kind, even if the increase in seats has inevitably led to a slowdown. Overall, the place in the city with the best quality-price ratio. Highly recommended

Sempre piacevole e gustoso mangiare in questo ristorante. Quando vengo a Bologna non perdo occasione per pranzare in questo locale. Atmosfera giovane e dinamica, proposte ricercate di qualità a prezzi da trattoria. Per me il migliore.
