A pleasant surprise during a trip to Lecce. Excellent food and dishes, dishes well prepared and served. Sebastian was courteous, present but discreet in the room. Overall great experience.

We were there for New Year's Eve and thought we would treat ourselves. The menu cost €110 per person without drinks. With wine and water we paid almost €300.
The entire menu was nicely presented but the taste was quite bland. There were no taste explosions or surprises. Except for the oyster ice cream, we returned it after one spoonful.
The service was nice and friendly, but apart from the restaurant manager, none of the waiters were trained. The waiters wanted to serve us several times even though I or my partner weren't finished yet and placed our cutlery accordingly.
I was also surprised that there were no decorations or special midnight dishes on New Year's Eve. Not even a glass of champagne. Since we found out about this at the start of the meal, we left at 11.30 to watch the fireworks.
Unfortunately for us it was a disappointment.

Il ristorante è davvero carino e accogliente, curato fin nei minimi dettagli con uno stile unico e particolare. Ci sono andata per cena con un mio amico e abbiamo scelto il menù degustazione con piatti di pesce. Un percorso pieno di piacevoli sorprese e interessanti incontri e in chiusura una panna cotta con caramello salato che ci ha caldamente stupefatti. Durante la cena ci ha accompagnato Sebastian e con la sua cortesia ci ha deliziato raccontando i piatti nel dettaglio. Ci ha inoltre guidato con la sua saggezza da sommelier e ci ha fatto sentire coccolati per tutta la serata.

Premise: this review takes into consideration the normal standards for a restaurant recommended by the Micheline guide.
Starting from the environment, we would like to specify that although it was well looked after, we were expecting something more "intimate" or in any case reserved: a slightly awkward entrance, very close tables and despite the fact that we were a couple they set us up side by side and not in front.
The bathroom is also very small.
As for the menu, which is also not paper but only digital, we recommend the à la carte menu.
Overall good and well-prepared dishes, with affordable prices that compensate for the various shortcomings compared to the standards.
Service, very warm and friendly, different from the usual service you usually expect.

We had an unforgettable and an amazing dining experience at Duo! Hubby and I opted for the 8-course tasting menu, we placed our trust completely in the chef, having no idea what would come next, and it was the best decision we made. You do get the choice to order Ala Carte though.
Each course was a masterpiece, beautifully presented and bursting with flavor. Such creativity and attention to detail were truly impressive. They were very respectful of dietary issues as well.
The service was equally top-notch—attentive, but never intrusive. What stood out the most was the personal touch: the chef came out to greet each table, which made the night feel even more special.
The ambiance is minimalist, but it complements the focus on the food perfectly. If you're looking for a culinary experience that will blow you away, I highly recommend dining here. This is more than just a meal; it's a work of art. What an evening!

Nuestra cena romántica en DÚO Ristorante fue un viaje culinario inolvidable. Optamos por el menú degustación Verde Mare de ocho platos con maridaje de vinos, y fue una aventura de principio a fin. Nuestro sumiller y camarero, Sebastian, era increíblemente conocedor y profesional, guiándonos expertamente a través de los maridajes. El plato de bienvenida del chef, una colección de siete divertidos - bouches, marcó el tono para una noche llena de sorpresas encantadoras. El plato de limón dulce con alcaparras y pasta de anchoa fue especialmente inesperado, mientras que el Amber Jack fue un verdadero sobresaliente.
El ambiente se elevaba con esculturas únicas en cada mesa: el nuestro era un encantador bulldog llamado Carlos, que añadía un toque juguetón al refinado entorno. ¡No podríamos haber pedido una velada más memorable!

I’m a vegetarian trying the tasting menu. Almost half of them were tailor-made vegetarian special dishes, incredibly delicious.

We had high expectations as the restaurant is on the Michelin guide, but the food was not outstanding. Appetizers were great and very delicious. It went downhill for us from there. Service was great, but it all seemed like everyone was trying too hard to impress. It seemed a little pretentious. We can’t say anything bad about the food, it just wasn’t our cup of tea. We also waited 30-40min for the first main course with all the other tables. Everyone seemed nice though. 3/5
