We expected more from this restaurant. The service was quite snooty, especially the obvious boss. The food was rather average, only the wine was really excellent. The price/performance ratio is poor, we would have expected first-class food for the prices quoted.

Used this restaurant several years in a row during my stays in Venice in the 80s-90s. Nice place to eat, met many nice Venetians.

The expectation can be much higher than the quality, I would say more than mediocre, of the food. The environment is well presented, the service is attentive and good in terms of time and form. But did I eat well in the end? So so. From 1 to 10? 5--

We took a first course of raw fish and it was in abundance, the second course was risotto alla pescatore and for 24 euros per person it was really little... now we are waiting for the second course and see what will happen

One of the few places open at the beginning of December on the Lido. Traditional cuisine, attentive service and great availability of dishes linked to the sea (without however neglecting pizza and some meat). I preferred the sea, for consistency, and I was more than satisfied. The bulk wine is also excellent. The price maybe a little high, but the quality demands it. Having recently returned, I confirm everything, in particular the quality of the Fritto food which is truly noteworthy.

We used to come here when we lived on the Lido on the occasion of a visit from some relative or friend, this time we came back as "tourists". Always varied menu, excellent quality raw materials, elegant environment, very kind waiters especially with my 7 year old daughter. Booking via app is convenient, but today it created a very unpleasant situation. Booked and had lunch on the 24th without problems. Today (26 December), due to a change of plans, we book at the last minute via app for 12. We arrive and the reservation does not appear. I showed the confirmation email to the owner, who claimed he had blocked bookings via the app. Confirmation that there was an app error, for us there was no problem, it can happen. Only then he added, in a tone between annoyed and haughty, "Did you think you would find a place on December 26th by booking 10 minutes in advance?". He could have canceled someone. Maybe the others had booked for later and there was a space left. A stroke of luck. There is no need to humiliate the customer like this, especially if the error was due to the booking app. I immediately called another place and, mortified at first, I said "I know it's late and you probably have no room left...". They responded pleasantly "There's room, we look forward to seeing you!". Sometimes a little humanity is worth more than a perfect mise en place.

Hands down best meal i’ve had in lido! yes it is more on the expensive side but you get what you’re paying for! the servers are very attentive and have the best recommendations.

28/02/2025: Creative gourmet cuisine in a unique setting The Vetri restaurant, which opened in September last year, is exceptional in every respect. It is located in a lavishly renovated corner building of the former Conterie di Murano glass factory, now called Punto Conterie. The historic building is now a cultural and historical interface in which there is a bistro, a design bookstore with a glass art shop, a green boutique with floristry and fragrances, a bistro café and the gourmet restaurant Vetri. The restaurant is located on the upper floor of the building and can be reached via stairs or a modern elevator. The Vetri has a very nice terrace that offers a unique view of Murano and the canals. In addition to the restaurant, the Punto Conterie exhibition rooms are also located on this floor. Changing exhibitions related to the cultural history of Murano take place there. In the Vetri restaurant, creative fish dishes of the highest standard are prepared by the 26-year-old chef John Mark Nanit. The young Italo-Filipino learned his craft in, among other places, Scandinavian star restaurants and implemented this knowledge creatively with a reference to local products. The result is overwhelming: after the visit, we were sure that we had visited one of the best gourmet restaurants in Venice. For us personally it was the top culinary experience of the year. The organic egg cooked at 62 degrees with black truffles and baby spinach from the neighboring island of Sant' Erasmo as well as the halved paccheri filled with red shrimps, raw North Adriatic scampi and a sauce made from Venetian Caparossoli vongole with crispy quinoa and sepia cream were great culinary cinema. The main courses also impressed with product quality, freshness and taste: turbot on Sant' Erasmo spinach with tapioca-sepia crisp and a mussel emulsion as well as red tuna on celery with Japanese katsuobashi tuna flakes in nut butter - the taste experience cannot be described! We were so impressed by the aromatic dishes that we almost forgot about the creative desserts, the modern, elegant, high-quality ambience and the very friendly service.... The moderate bill at the end confirmed the impression that Vetri is an insider tip for gourmets in Venice. We wish the restaurant team that it receives the international recognition and awards that it undoubtedly deserves. Be sure to visit!
