A sure thing for locals too; I've been going there for years, having overcome the prejudice that many Lido restaurants have completely sold out to tourists. Gran Viale is an institution, and Barbiero, the owner, is competent and forward-thinking. It's no coincidence that he has low turnover and truly invests in his staff. As a result, the atmosphere, service, and overall experience are excellent. As for the food, I highly recommend eating fish here; the gratinated mussels and gnocchi with spider crab are unique.

Genuinely local restaurant, had pizza, pasta carbonara and fish dishes, all tasty and staff on each visit were friendly and professional. Location is 60 seconds from Vaperatto stop and able to pick outside or interior tables. If you are looking to get away from a tourist crush, at a local restaurant that locals happily eat at, this is recommended.

We wanted to escape the hustle and bustle of Venice and took the boat to Lido. We spontaneously had lunch here. The staff was nice and the food was tasty.

Top restaurant! From the entrance, the staff was extra friendly and professional. We didn't book, but they gave us a table right away. The waiter knows his job. From the starter to the dessert... everything was perfect. Congratulations👏

30/05/2025: Ottimo ristorante dove mangiare carne di qualità, menù vario per tutti i gusti, da provare la fiorentina, location ordinata e pulita, servizio molto cordiale e disponibile e attento ai clienti , prezzi medio alti ma d’altro canto se si vuole mangiare bene bisogna spendere qualcosa in più, promosso a pieni voti
13/03/2025: Ho cenato in questo ristorante con amici un po’ di tempo fa (vedi data visita) e volevo esprimere il mio parere su questo ristorante. Il posto l’ho trovato un po’ stretto, piccolo e leggermente caotico dato che comunque c’è poco spazio e si è molto vicini con i tavoli. L’ambiente è accogliente e il servizio a tavola dove ti preparano la tartare è una coccola. Io ho ordinato il filetto al pepe verde che non mi ha fatto dire wow…anzi aveva diversi nervi all’interno della carne e l’ho trovato nella media. Poi ci siamo divisi la tartare e si era buona ma anche questa niente di che, idem per la carne alla brace che poi infine ti cucini sulla piastra. Prezzi un po’ alti ma ormai per la carne questo si spende. Insomma senza infamia e senza lode.
