Ieri sera, con altri 4 amici, sono stato invitato per una cena a base di baccalà.
Mi era stato detto che questa trattoria era molto famosa per le sue pietanze a base di baccalà e quindi ho preso per antipasto baccalà fritto, seguito dal risotto al baccalà e per finire il baccalà mantecato con polenta . Molto buono il fritto ed il risotto mentre ho avuto qualche perplessità per quanto riguarda il mantecato che personalmente ho trovato forse troppo morbido, cremoso ma poco sapido (mi ricordavo gusti più decisi). Tutto annaffiato con un litro di prosecco e vespaiolo, acqua e caffè per una spesa di 55 € a persona. Per terminare la cena ci è stata offerta la grappa in barrique

Trattoria dall'antico sapore e calore. Servizio rapido ed efficiente. Qui si viene per degustare il baccalà in tutte le sue varianti: astenersi a chi non piace...!
Antipastini sfiziosi che poi lasciano il posto ad un favoloso Risotto al Baccalà ed ai Bigoli col Baccalà... di secondo c'è Baccalà mantecatto e insalata. Ottimo quello fritto (leggero e saporito) e poi il piatto forte: Baccalà alla Vicentina con polentina.
Per finire, c'è anche il semifredo dal leggero sapore di Baccalà.
Un Vespaiolo frizzante per annaffiare il tutto e via per visitare le colline vicentine.

Bamm, it's always like the first time, even if I've been there several times in the past, always an emotion, sublime cod in all the courses they bring you, the daughter and son precise, polite and ready and then at the end you serve yourself with a shot of grappa directly from the barrel, and the honest bill....I'll be back and if I come back😜

We revisited this restaurant with the idea of reliving and enjoying cod as a whole as we had done years before. And the experience is increasingly complete. Nice restaurant, fast service and excellent cod.
