Excellent classic tasting menu, we will definitely be back to try the others too. All delicious dishes... from aperitif to dessert. The chef was very friendly and thorough in explaining the menu. The wine list is also excellent.

And yesterday a truly exceptional lunch at the wonderful @duecolombe restaurant (1 Michelin star) by chef @stefanocerveni in the heart of Franciacorta...
Stefano made us try various dishes taken from his three tasting menus to let us enter his world and his cooking philosophy and he succeeded very well... the dishes were all excellent and it is certainly a cuisine that starts from tradition but is presented in a more contemporary and lighter way... the dishes are tasty but also balanced... the ones that surprised me the most were the baked tench bon-bon (an incredible bite), the purple potato, the red prawn and the Franciacorta (a perfect combination) and the roasted rabbit plin ravioli, brown stock, grana padano emulsion (extraordinary)... heartfelt thanks to Stefano and his whole team in the kitchen! A big thank you also to @peggysurf for the excellent wines she offered us to pair with the dishes... all the guys in the room were also very good... we will definitely come back to visit you...

Simply spectacular wedding ceremony at the Borgo Antico and amazing lunch at Due Colombe. The dishes were superb paired with wine of the same level, ranging from an incredible violet potato cake with red shrimps aromatized with Franciacorta to a revisited Manzo all’olio. Everything absolutely top class with excellent and friendly service in a scenici location. Simply perfect

A refined location, service with attention to the smallest details. Polite, friendly staff ready to respond to every request. An exceptionally rich and interesting wine list, the sommelier will be ready to understand your needs and give the best advice.
We chose the classics menu as a first approach to this cuisine, with some additions on the chef's advice. All delicious, with bold combinations alternating with great classics such as beef and polenta.
High quality ingredients, all well balanced, so that each flavor is clearly recognisable.
I loved the purple potato with red prawn and Franciacorta, and the shiso with white chocolate, polenta and caviar!
Finally, Chef Cerveni was an excellent host, a warm welcome that is rarely found in restaurants of this level and which I appreciated.
We will definitely be back

Personale attento, cordiale e molto professionale.
Location molto apprezzata, per le pareti di pietra antica, tavoli ben distanziati, silenzio, luminosità.
La cucina ci ha sorpreso in positivo per il perfetto equilibrio tra originalità, sapore e piacevolezza visiva, non sempre questi elementi vanno d'accordo.
Antipasto di gamberi: eccellente abbinamento con patata viola e la sapidità della base del piatto, un'overture delicata ma con personalità
Risotto con gamberi.
Interessante l'idea di servire il riso a coprire i gamberi.
Questo consente un equilibrio di sapori e una maggiore diffusione del gambero nel piatto e nel boccone. Molto saporito.
Crostino con foiegras e tonno: geniale.
L'abbinamento è perfetto
Anguilla psichedelica, altrettanto geniale nel gusto e nella presentazione
Il connubio della carne dell'anguilla con la dolcezza del peperone, trasmette il guizzo del gusto con la delicatezza dell'armonia.

Cenare presso il ristorante Due Colombe e’ sempre una grande gioia per tutta una serie di motivi. In primis la location, un meraviglioso Borgo Antico nel cuore della Franciacorta, che trasuda storia da ogni angolo della bellissima struttura. Poi lo chef Stefano che argomenta con dovizia di molteplici dettagli ogni singolo piatto ed infine il ricco e variegato menu’ composto da ben tre menù degustazione che raccontano tre storie differenti ma tutte molto intriganti. Brigata eccellente e servizio in sala di prim’ordine.
