Good value for money The only thing... let everyone add their own pecorino in the carbonara. I really like it, but it was too much and too strong, even for me.

We ate two really generous plates of pasta, there were two of us, and we left feeling incredibly full. Good value for money, and the staff was incredibly friendly.

A very good Tuscan restaurant in Lucca!!! We've dined here several times: at Vecchio Du'Palle and at the new Barsanti & Matteucci. Yes, things have changed, the menu has evolved, but one constant remains: Davide, the heart of the restaurant, and his aura of hospitality. An excellent restaurant in Lucca with a well-prepared menu; however, the slower-than-expected service prevents me from giving it a full 5 stars. Nevertheless, 4+ stars are more than deserved! Perhaps we should have avoided weekend dinners?
