Good food, good menu selection, average prices but too much waiting between one dish and another. While I was waiting for the second course, my fellow diners were waiting for dessert.

Well...what can one say? The fundamental proviso is that generally speaking, the standard level of Chinese food in Europe isn't great. Understandably, the Chinese in Europe have adapted to European conditions, meaning the food is relatively bland and portions are skimpy. Taste-wise, I would score most of them below Panda Express (faint praise!). One positive: given lax US standards, the beef and chicken served are probably higher quality, for instance, if you order 'vitello e cipolla' (veal with onions). The best I can say about Du Cheng is that it's very clean and that the staff are always friendly, so if you find yourself in Turin and you're really missing Chinese food you can come here--but moderate your expectations.

very good food, I was sad that they put us in a small room, because the rest of the restaurant is very nice, but unfortunately being in that room we were not able to fully enjoy the environment. very professional and friendly staff, I will be back

I can define myself as a historic customer, and over the years, they have remained authentic and good... the only negative note: too many people go there now! It remains the best Chinese restaurant in the city (the word of a demanding gourmet!)

Excellent, I would go back! Good food, generous portions, exceptional value for money and quick and friendly service.
We went for dinner and with €20 each we left more than full, having 1 starter, 1 first course and 1 second course each!
I recommend booking on weekends to avoid it being full
