Du' Cesari In Torino

I was a big fan of this Roman osteria, which I always considered the best in Piedmont. But in the space of a month, I've been to both the one in Lissone and this one on Corso Regina, and I'm sorry to see a deterioration. The atmosphere is as lively and rowdy as ever, but the food... It's changed. In Lissone, both entrees were overcooked, runny, and overly salty. We left them behind. Never before. In Turin, half the table had leftover dishes. They were truly the best, and instead, I made a terrible impression on my guests. In Lissone, the waiters were wandering around in a haphazard fashion, forgetting everything. In Turin, however, the dining room staff was very kind and attentive, the only positive note. Ultimately, a place that used to be a must-try, now I'm not sure I'd recommend it with any certainty.

An authentic Roman restaurant, perfect for those who love traditional first courses. Creamy carbonara, flavorful amatriciana, and balanced cacio e pepe. Generous portions, friendly service, and a genuine atmosphere. Highly recommended.

High level quality and courtesy

The food was really good and tasty. The staff was friendly. I'd say the ambiance or location could use a little more work, but everything else was fine.

Excellent traditional Roman food in a tavern-like setting

Despite the various reviews pointing out that the pasta is precooked, even though pasta should be the highlight of a Roman restaurant, you continue to serve it like this. You obviously don't care about losing customers. And then spending 35 euros for a (savory) appetizer and a first course like this with a glass of wine in an osteria seems a bit excessive to me. It's a shame because you were once a point of reference in Turin.

A classic Roman restaurant. However, it successfully strives to personalize a cuisine comprised of a few typical dishes. Kudos to you for your efforts.

The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, with just the right touch of rusticity that makes you feel instantly at home, aided by the friendly, attentive, and genuinely passionate wait staff.
