Very particular and characteristic place (it also displays the official Historic Place plaque). Seen from the outside it looks like a corner of London or some other Nordic country, it doesn't feel like being in Pordenone. And this is already priceless in my opinion. It is run by a very nice couple accompanied by an equally nice and polite white dog Excellent dishes (I have always eaten first courses) - portions that fill you up just by looking at them - Vin bon (I have always had both white and red on tap, but there are also some nice labels) Homemade desserts One of the few restaurants in Pordenone where I am happy to return

The history of the place is interesting but I have known it for as long as the managers Walter and Maria. Typical historic restaurant. We have been eating vegetarian for some years and previous memories bring back everything from first courses to second courses and so on. No problem now, Maria still delights us with her dishes even for those who don't eat meat and Walter is an excellent host, thank you!

02/01/2024: Cheap and professional, clearly there is value for money, I'm talking about the fixed price menu at midday!!!!
06/12/2023: The fixed menu of the day proposed (12€) is good even if the choice is a bit limited and the dishes are not very hot. The service was fast and precise. The place is nice but a little cold. I hate polluting single-dose sachets of oil and vinegar. Private parking available. Follow me and like me.

Porta Antica Bar Ristorante

08/12/2023: Let me start by saying that I stumbled upon it by chance and was passing through, so a regular customer probably wouldn't have had my experience. Unfortunately I wasn't able to taste the local cuisine. As soon as I entered for lunch I asked if we could eat and I was asked to wait for a girl who would seat me at the table. The staff showed great courtesy right from the start, asking me if I wanted to have an aperitif in the meantime. After a 10 minute wait at the counter assisted by a very kind waitress, what I presume to be the cook comes out of the kitchen and tells me that if I wanted to eat I would have to wait at least 15-20 minutes just to be able to sit at the table, saying that she has these times. Honestly, if I had known it earlier, given that it was 1.30pm I wouldn't have even had the aperitif. I believe that the cook is also the person who manages the place. No hard feelings and no problems about the delay in information, these are things that can happen, but if I can give some advice I would have the room and customers managed by the people who are at the counter or between the tables, given that whoever is in the kitchen must rightly follow the cooking, in order to provide timely information to customers. Regarding cooking times, since it is a restaurant it could also offer a selection of dishes that are perhaps quicker to prepare, also to avoid tying up the kitchen and be able to satisfy anyone who enters the restaurant. But this is my opinion as a colleague. I wish you all the best and you will certainly have no shortage of customers anyway.
14/11/2023: We were there for the first time on Sunday 12/10. What to say? Food 🔝, nice restaurant, efficient and friendly staff. All at an excellent quality-price ratio. Highly recommended!
