We had a very memorable lunch at Drogheria della Rosa. We (four people) arrived without reservation, the owner himself made sure to arrange the tables so we had a nice spot on the lovely terrace. We started off our meal with a complementary glass of white wine and an appetizer.
We shared some lovely vitello tonnato as a starter. As a main course I tried a typical local dish: the tortellini in brodo, which was really good. The wine we had with our meal was equally as good. We loved sitting under the parasols on the terrace, adjacent to some lovey portico's.
We ended our meal with a glass of grappa. The owner left the bottle on our table so we could pour us an extra glass if we wanted. Appreciated!

The owner, Emanuel Addone greeted us in a very generous Italian fashion. Made sure we were seated comfortably. The service through out was superb!! We were treated like valuable guests. The food was first class!! The warmth and care from staff that we were happy was very appreciated (after being denied from another establishment close by, despite plenty of available tables) .
It did feel like the Italy we knew 25 years ago.
If you are looking for authentic GOOD food, this is the place.
We would come back in a heartbeat!

Every time I return to Bologna, I have to go there at least once.
I ate a plate of tortelloni with ricotta and courgette flowers.
A fillet with balsamic vinegar and mascarpone reduction with chocolate flakes and a bomb peach.
My wife, even at 38', ate the cappelletti in broth.
Every time Emanuele welcomes us with a smile.
We feel at home, I recommend it

Possibilità di mangiare all’aperto con riparo dal sole.

Prezzo onesto e personale gentile.
Il proprietario particolare, simpaticone molto estroverso che bisogna saperlo prendere..certo .. magari non a tutti piace..ma rende il locale unico nel suo genere..
Tutto si potrà dire ma di certo che non sia onesto.
In fin dei conti bisogna mangiare bene…
E vi assicuro che con i prezzi che fa e la qualità è al Top..
