Going to the grocery store is definitely an experience that goes beyond the food. Emanuele is a different kind of man, having run his business for thirty years... so nothing to say except compliments. He has a huge heart, for those who know him, even those who only know him from behind a table. The food is truly good, and if you know wine, you know you can find excellent cellars. No one says that when you sit down, you always get a glass of wine to welcome you and a small plate of excellent products to nibble on. We've always loved coming here. Thanks, Emanuele...

Wow! Best restaurant we had in Bologna. You must try the pumpkin ravioli (we ordered it again after having one), lasagna and bolognese. Left me with no words 😍

We ate divinely; the menu was simple but very inviting, and the prices were reasonable. The place is interesting, with a warm and creative atmosphere. Emanuele, the owner, is always friendly and hospitable. A top-notch venue.

Friendly staff and fairly quick service. We had an appetizer, tortellini in broth and seasonal vegetables, all good. Prices are a bit high, considering the portions are relatively small. Visited on 11/16/2025.

Super authentic. The host is very interesting and charmingly unique. We loved it! The food was excellent, and the house red wine is highly recommended. Be sure to try the mascarpone dessert as well.

Good food, so-so wine, "let's hope at least the dessert moves me" prices. But the real highlight isn't on the menu. The owner. More than a restaurant, it feels like a sociological experiment: you come in to eat, and you leave feeling like you've experienced an after-hours episode of Kitchen Nightmares. At a certain point, the owner—visibly inspired by the house wine (probably not ours)—sat down at our table and started talking to us like an old friend. Or like a politician on the campaign trail. It's unclear. No holds barred. No filters. No relaxed eyebrows. Overall experience? If they renamed the place from "La Rosa" to "La Parolaccia – Cucina & Improvvisazione Teatrale," they'd become millionaires. I, just in case, laughed a lot. I don't know if it was the wine or the surrealism. Recommended if you want to: - eat - drink - meet a person who lives life without any level of security between their mind and mouth. Not recommended if you are looking for: - silence - calm - traditional, non-interactive dining
