The owner and staff were very kind and helpful. I'd never tried panzerotto before, so he gave me the best advice... simply EXCEPTIONAL! Even eaten cold the next morning. A guarantee.

Visited Dottor Panzerotto on a busy Saturday night and it was absolutely worth the wait. We ordered four oven-baked panzerotti — all arrived warm, generously filled, freshly baked, and full of flavour. Service was friendly and polite despite how busy it was. We stopped by while out in town after a long day of music and photoshooting, and this was exactly what we needed — comforting, satisfying, and delicious. Highly recommend if you’re in Taranto.

The place is a bit small with limited seating. I tried both the panzerotti and pucce, and I must say they were very good, but the prices were too high, especially since the panzerotti aren't very filling (they're also small), and the same goes for the puccie. Otherwise, it seems fairly clean. (P.S. I've eaten here twice already, so keep that in mind.)

Pizza twist

10/01/2026: The place is welcoming and spacious, and the pizza with a thick crust (typical Neapolitan pizza) is delicious. I specifically had a Valtellina, and I must say the bresaola was top-notch. As for service, the robot served the table as well as a human waiter :-) Highly recommended.
08/01/2026: The pizza is delicious. There's not a huge selection of beers, but they're good and not the usual commercial ones. The self-ordering option with a QR code is definitely unique, and especially the robot waiter.

26/09/2025: We returned after a few years and I must say we were pleasantly surprised by the current menu. Relaxing atmosphere, impeccable service, very good food. Very attentive to customer needs. We will definitely be back.
