After years and years, here I am again at the first place I ever ate an all-you-can-eat. I can say that it hasn't changed over the years. Excellent as always.

Oriental restaurant with a do-it-yourself menu. I really like it here; the selection is wide, and there's even a grilled meat or fish section on site. I'll always come back.

I'm not a great sushi expert, but the selection, in addition to the incredible variety of oriental and non-oriental dishes, is, in my opinion, the best of all the all-you-can-eat restaurants in Perugia!! Excellent and very fast service!

The food was delicious, the service was really good. Friendly and attentive.

Doremifawok in Perugia: An Unforgettable Culinary Journey Between East and West! I had the pleasure of dining at Doremifawok in Perugia this evening and was absolutely blown away by the variety and quality of their offerings! I was looking for a place to savor Asian cuisine, but I found so much more: a true melting pot of flavors ranging from East to West. The atmosphere is welcoming and refined, which immediately sets the tone for a pleasant experience. But the real highlight is undoubtedly the menu, which masterfully blends diverse culinary traditions. We began by exploring the Asian section. The soy noodles were flavorful and perfectly cooked, a classic Chinese dish prepared here with fresh, well-balanced ingredients. We couldn't help but try something from the Japanese section, and the sushi was truly excellent: the freshest ingredients, perfect rice, and rolls prepared with great care and precision. Each piece melted in your mouth, demonstrating an uncommon attention to detail. And then, the real surprise: their Italian cuisine with freshly cooked meat and fish. I sampled a meat dish that was incredibly tender and flavorful, prepared with great skill and attention to ingredients. It was unexpected to find such quality even in Italian dishes at a restaurant with a strong Asian identity, and this is a testament to the versatility and skill of Doremifawok's cuisine. The custom wok is still an experience not to be missed: choosing your own ultra-fresh ingredients and watching them cook before your eyes is an incredible plus. I created my ideal combination, and it was simply delicious! The service was impeccable: fast, friendly, and attentive to our every need. In conclusion, Doremifawok is much more than just an Asian restaurant in Perugia; it is a true culinary hub where quality and variety meet. After many years, I'm returning to this historic AYCE restaurant, and I must say it's just as good as I left it. What sets this restaurant apart from other all-you-can-eat restaurants? The self-service approach. If you're a comfortable person or a mysophobe, this place isn't for you, as you'll be using items that have been touched by countless people. I don't know if the quality has dropped or stayed the same, but you definitely can't expect, for example, a tray of pasta prepared two hours ago to be as fresh and delicious as a freshly cooked dish. 1) What's the location like? The restaurant is located across the street from a well-known fast food restaurant, which unfortunately takes up a lot of space from the adjacent restaurants, forcing us to drive around 50 times before finding a parking spot. DoReMiFaWok is a restaurant with a very nice and well-maintained Asian architecture, divided into several rooms, with pleasant music, comfortable chairs, decent-sized tables, free WiFi, and a friendly but unhurried staff. In fact, despite having little to do (not having to carry dishes to the tables), I never saw anyone with a broom in hand, and indeed, you could see a bit of everything on the floor. Besides the cleanliness, there was also a lot of grease around (including a strong smell of fried food). All this aside, one of the things that undoubtedly characterizes this AYCE restaurant most is the option, at the end of the meal, to enjoy a free fruit salad or dessert! Nothing special, of course, but better than nothing. And all this for only €15.90! 2) What's the food like? As I said at the beginning of the review, you certainly can't expect top-notch quality from this restaurant, but all in all, for the price, it's decent. The menu isn't extensive, and is mostly based on appetizers, first courses, and fried foods. There's also a sushi platter and a refrigerated counter with raw meat and fish for grilling. -Appetizers: The selection is truly extensive, from vegetables to seafood. If you factor in the side dishes, you'll find almost everything. It's a shame there's no soup (3 out of 4). -Sushi: Unfortunately, I arrived after 1:30 PM, and more than half of the platter was cleaned off, so I settled for what was available. It's improved since my last visit (it tasted like cardboard), but not up to the level of the best AYCE restaurants. Overall, though, I wasn't disappointed (3/4). -First Courses: Here's the weak point of the meal. Lukewarm, overcooked, some spaghetti was raw, tasteless… edible but could be improved greatly (2/4) - Second courses: Since I don't eat meat, the selection was limited to some seafood, fish, and cuttlefish; you can also grill some vegetables. I limited myself to four shrimp skewers, but they left much to be desired: tasteless and full of sand. They probably weren't cleaned properly (2/4) *Bonus - sweets and fruit: In a small refrigerated counter, there were some sweets, some exotic fruits, and a tray of fruit salad; next to them, there was also an ice cream maker with 5-6 flavors. Nothing exceptional, but very welcome. 3) Is it worth it? The question is this: are there AYCE restaurants where, for ~€18.50 (lunch + 75cl water), you leave the table with a full belly, where you eat better than here, where you are served and revered? Yes. So what's the point of coming here? Well, as I said, the place is very large (at least 50 tables), the wait time for your food is practically zero. You eat what you see with your own eyes, choose the portions you like, and you can order as many times as you like... in short, complete freedom. Sometimes these are the little pleasures. Final 'Bandix Travels' rating: 36 out of 50 (average for Perugia AYCE restaurants: 35)

Chinese restaurant where you eat and serve yourself but in addition to the typical Chinese dishes there are more typical Italian dishes

Very varied food but the fried food was cold. Good service even though water was requested and it didn't arrive, we had to remember the order. Beautiful and elegant environment.
