Dorada Lago In Monte isola

We were there yesterday, October 13th. There were 10 of us. We went hungry and spent 270 euros without eating anything. Everything was disgusting. Not even the bread was good. I don't know how people leave positive reviews... It was absolutely disgusting.

We stopped one day in February for lunch with a view. Unfortunately, it was disappointing, especially the fish appetizer, which was very modest (a sardine, some cold fried fish, and a small piece of white fish). The cold cuts and cheese platter was certainly more satisfying, but breadsticks/crostini and giardiniera could have been added. Service was slow, perhaps due to the low season.

As part of a group, I had lunch at this restaurant. The food was decent, but the staff was very, very busy given the influx of diners and therefore not very present. The most embarrassing thing was the arrival of the fries. The plate contained about fifteen, but they should have been enough for a table of seven... perhaps lunching on my own would have been different! If I were to return, I would opt for the mixed fried fish, which looked tempting at other tables!

Whenever I go to Montisola, for a few years now, we have lunch at Dorada Lago, right on the lakeshore. The food is good, well-cooked, and generous portions, making it a great value. The staff is incredibly friendly and makes you feel at home. They're also very welcoming to children; they were great with my granddaughters, too.

A day of pure relaxation along the lake, surrounded by nature, good food, and lots of fun 🌿🌊. We stopped at Dorada Lago in Monte Isola and let ourselves be pampered by the unique atmosphere: incredible views, a breeze coming from the water, nature all around, and a few friendly ducks stopping by to say hello 🦆💙. We started with the legendary Monte Isola salami, which alone is worth the trip 😍. Then we dived into a superb mixed fried fish dish from the sea and lake: crispy, plentiful, and simply perfect for sharing (even though we would have liked to keep it all for ourselves 😂🐟🍤). Finally, a tasty dessert was a must, making us end the lunch with a smile. 🍰 A place that combines simplicity, tradition, and a stunning location... perfect for those seeking authentic flavors and moments to share with loved ones 💙. If you happen to be in Monte Isola, we highly recommend it... because some experiences are unforgettable! 🌿🌅
