Aperitivo for €7.50 was not a bad deal. The Aperol was a bit watery, the chips, malsini and bruschetta were not wow. The service was good.

May 2025: The owner should hire more employees. The waiters are doing their best but are completely overwhelmed. So-so food, noisy atmosphere, and friendly waiters, but they can't handle everything. You order a drink and they bring the food without it; when it arrives, you have to ask for a glass, and so on. Rating: So-so + Clarification: I have low standards.

You are in Rome and you have already tried pasta, pizza, antipasto, and you want something different or a little bit of the local, this is the place, the service was great even though they were almost going to close

I received dirty cutlery, I had to ask for a replacement. I got the appetizer together with the main course, which made absolutely no sense. The "toast" wasn't even browned. The pastas are okay, but not great. The staff circles over the tables like vultures and takes dishes from the table without asking.

Nice beer selection for the area, but nothing too special. The 2 IPAs I had were pretty good. We only had some starters (that were ok), so can't say about the rest of the food. Service is really bad... You wait forever for everything, from the order, to the drinks, the food.. they don't pay any attention to the table, didn't even bring the basics like a fork or napkins.

17/08/2025: The view is fantastic. Sipping a beer while gazing at one of the Seven Wonders of the Modern World isn't something you get to do every day. The staff was friendly. The prices aren't the cheapest, considering the location, but they're still reasonable. I was a bit disappointed that you couldn't order coffee after 12 p.m.
17/08/2025: The view is amazing, but it is very busy and there are only a few tables with the great views of the Colosseum. The staff is a bit unfriendly. Coffee and pastries are good but nothing special.

16/07/2025: Siamo stati appositamente da Grue ieri mattina x poter fare una buona colazione. Abbiamo scelto fra le tante varietà due cornetti alla crema buonissimi che difficilmente si trovano e due caffè altrettanto buoni. Ci andiamo molto spesso non solo x la colazione ma anche a pranzo, sempre tutto soddisfacente per non parlare poi delle varietà dei mignon, delle torte e del buonissimo gelato artigianale. Rimaniamo sempre molto soddisfatti e sempre ben accolti dalla carinissima cassiera. I prezzi non sono assolutamente esosi considerando soprattutto la qualità dei prodotti
11/07/2025: Sono tornato dopo un po' di tempo,avevo voglia di una buona colazione...I prodotti di pasticceria sono sopra la media buoni ...il servizio abbastanza buono ...E la signora in cassa che rovina tutto ...non ti guarda neanche in viso,non fa un sorriso nemmeno sotto minaccia...pessima..
