Doppio Malto In Olbia

The atmosphere is basic (the restrooms, perhaps, are a bit too basic, but they're still clean). The staff is friendly; just don't argue with them or complain about the food. The food is generally decent, and portions are generous. I once had a problem with the octopus, which was decidedly too tough and inedible. Obviously, I didn't complain in front of everyone, but I went to the kitchen counter to speak directly and politely with the waiter and cook, but they didn't accept my criticism and, instead of apologizing for what had happened, became resentful. Since then, I've decided I won't go there again, especially because there are many other places to eat octopus in Olbia, some of which are much better. A special mention goes to BIRRAMISÙ, which is truly delicious.

Fantastic, a must try. The birramisu is a spectacular beer version of the traditional tiramisu!!!!!!!

I recently ate at the Doppio Malto in Olbia, and a couple of things need to be said... The food is good: sandwiches, focaccia, meat, and appetizers, all quite good and of good quality. The problems arise in the quantity/price ratio. For a REDUCED sandwich, I paid more than €8, a decidedly exorbitant price considering it's about the size of a tennis ball... A real shame, because it was good but definitely too small. Having gone with three friends, we decided to order the mixed grill, which, if I'm not mistaken, costs more than €21 *PERSON and is reserved for a minimum of two people. The meat was good quality, though nothing special, but once again, the portions were too small, and the sausage was way too spicy. I highly doubt it would be enough to feed two people, as the amount of meat was quite limited. The surcharge is also reflected in drinks, especially beers. Even though the quality is average, I'm sorry, but paying €6.20 for a classic medium beer (0.40cl) is simply unthinkable, not to mention the specialty beers that cost €6.60. Since we were thirsty and had company, we decided to order a Summer IPA. The waiter immediately tried to pass off the medium size at €6.20, but we decided to go for the small 0.20cl portion, which costs €3.60. I also want to point out that my two friends had food poisoning that evening... To sum up: • Good food, especially the sandwiches • Nice place, with a unique style, but still tidy and spacious • Prices are definitely exorbitant and constantly rising It's a real shame it's so expensive, as I went a couple of years ago when it first opened in Olbia and I remember the prices weren't that exorbitant (though still a bit high). I wouldn't recommend this place, especially given the price and portion sizes.

Good food, welcoming staff and atmosphere

The food is always excellent, whether it's grilled or pizza. The beers are also excellent. The service isn't always efficient, but it's still adequate. I come back often.

We had to wait 20 min. But okay the restaurant was pretty full. After our Order, they somehow lost it and we waited another 10 min So we had some Drinks and food after approx one hour. The service did not even apologized for the lost Order. The food was okay and the prices good.

Cool atmosphere, good food, large portions ++++ I recommend it.

Als je toch te vroeg op t vliegveld Olbia ben, ga dan hier eten! Bij Doppio Malto hebben wij een mixed grill voor 2 personen gegeten. Maar er konden 3 mensen van eten; zoveel verschillende soorten vlees. Heel lekker bereid. Alles ging op, heerlijk! Wij komen zeker weten terug!!
