The ice creams are excellent, but also the croissants. Very friendly and helpful staff.

The only flaw is that in the evening they close the shutters precisely at 11pm while the customers are still consuming the ice cream at the tables, it is unprofessional and absolutely not done

Excellent cream. 2023 Update: Lately it seems to me that they have made the same decision as Mondi a few years ago, that is to "water down" the flavours, perhaps to avoid increasing prices again (which have increased anyway, but I imagine they have no choice): crunchy, mint , cremino, pistachio, biscocrok... They seem less tasty than they used to be, and the variegated ones less rich in... Variegation, precisely. At the same time, Mondi had raised prices by 50% to become more luxurious. I never went there again (but it certainly doesn't need me). Personally I would prefer that they increase the prices "as much as necessary" but that the quality is kept the same. But I understand that not all families would take it well when it comes to buying ice cream for children (note that the baby cone has remained at the old price so as not to impact the children). The comments that in 2023 find a small cone with cream expensive at €2.50 (now €2.80) are incredible. If you cannot (unfortunately) afford artisanal ice cream, you are satisfied with the packaged ones, you don't blame the ice cream maker. And in any case these prices remain very low when compared to the north and abroad. Also incredible is those who say that if the child drops the ice cream, the ice cream vendor should offer him another one, as if it were a charitable undertaking. However, the quality/price ratio remains excellent in Rome in 2023/24. 2024 Update: Quality has stabilized at the previous decline. But since it seems to me that quality has dropped everywhere, Doppiapanna still remains above average. Are we perhaps witnessing the end of excellent artisanal ice cream at a good price in Rome, and will true quality now be reserved for places "for a few"? Maybe... Prices in the Roman average and in line with the quality and the neighborhood, those who complain are out of touch with the reality of inflation, which is unfortunately the same for everyone. Very good ice cream and not overly sweet.

Good ice creams. Personally I don't agree with the philosophy of pricing ice cream based on the number of flavours. The space in front is very useful, especially in the presence of children. Even though they produce artisanal ice cream, the price is too high. The part regarding the bar is good.

It's the first ice cream of the season that I'm having... and I have no terms of comparison regarding the rise in prices... But €2.80 for a small cone seems a lot to me

Ottimo posto. Locale grande con molti posti a sedere all'interno. Grande scelta di dolci. Buoni i cappuccini ed i caffè.
