Finally a restaurant in the historic center that doesn't pretend to be an ancient traditional Neapolitan trattoria Interesting dishes and beautiful atmosphere

Just a few moments from the bustling streets and scooters of Naples is Donna Romita. It's a wonderfully calm interior and very good service. Everything we ate was delicious. We shared tapas of fried potatoes, breaded prawns and meatballs. I had pasta with slow cooked onions and meat, which was very good. I think most things on the menu would have suited me. The local wine was brilliant. Would recommend!

Excellent address if like us, as good French people, you want a quiet place to eat well in the evening, after walking around the noisy (but very nice!) Spaccanapoli all day. The restaurant is hidden in a small alley which doesn't look like much, but we enjoyed their truffle pasta and shrimp pasta. Accustomed to takeaway pizzas for €2, the prices of this restaurant may seem high, but the quality is really there! Perfect if you want to taste something other than Neapolitan frying!

Local with an intimate and finely furnished atmosphere. It was a more than pleasant evening and, even though it was a Saturday, the place was full and the group I was with was full of people, there was no fuss. Pedro manages everything as best as possible and juggles the tables, at the full disposal of his customers. We ate and above all drank very well. Advised!

On Saturday evening we went to eat with some friends in this somewhat hidden place in the center of Naples. What can I say... lively and welcoming atmosphere, EXCELLENT food, crazy drinks. Pedro is the real strength of the place, he recommended us an excellent wine, creating a perfect match with the choice of menu. Furthermore, what is not to be taken for granted, his friendliness and competence were incredible. Even though it was a Saturday evening and the place was full, they managed to carve out a space for us and meet our needs. Ah!!! Absolutely try their locally produced gin!! CRAZY

I went there at the weekend with some friends, the place is nice with a small room on the ground floor and another downstairs, so in the basement. The service is kind and efficient, perhaps even a little too fast. We took a cold cuts and cheese platter, some meatballs and chips with a bottle of wine and finally dessert. We liked the food, but honestly it's not worth the money spent, both in quality, although I repeat it was all good, but not so exceptional either for the place, furthermore the bottle we got cost €13 in the wine shop, €40 here , so as nice as it is, you still eat in a basement in the historic center of Naples, which isn't all that elite.

We are amazed at the overall rating of this restaurant. We took spaghetti with truffle and black pepper which were tasteless, we asked for salt and pepper to season, the salt and pepper shakers were empty... Finally we had salt and pepper to spice it up a little . Very good low temperature cod. Blah blah...

Giuseppone a mare

20/02/2025: Excellent food, relaxing atmosphere, Posillipine panorama, attentive and attentive service. We will return with enthusiasm: at the moment in my neighborhood it is the restaurant I like most.
