I tried this typical Calabrian trattoria in the Porta Romana area, I was satisfied as it did not disappoint expectations. Very famous place in the area, I had a bruschetta with 'nduja, a typical first course and a liquorice semifreddo.

The first one done correctly and the dessert very good and not too sweet
Really very low price considering Milan and the area.
Value for money one of the best places to eat in Milan, I absolutely recommend

The menu is excellent, suitable for everyone thanks to the different vegetarian, fish and meat offerings. Simple and welcoming environment. Highly recommended for dinners with friends.

Cena meravigliosa...caponata, polpette al sugo, guancetta di manzo, verdure cotte buonissime. Dolci superlativi: cheese cake all'arancia e zenzero; gelato alla nocciola piccante, ecc. Tutto delizioso, ad un prezzo equo.

Recommend to make reservation before hand. Appreciate friendly host tried his best to arrange me a table despite I was running late and the restaurant is busy.
Pasta I order is amazing, simple yet flavourful! Tiramisu and carafe red wine is great too. All dishes were nicely plate, and at an appropriate pricing.
Will definitely back here again.

Going to dinner here is equivalent to finding yourself enjoying the flavors of Calabrian cuisine. The restaurant has a vast menu of dishes, based on Calabrian tradition, but revisited in a modern key.
The restaurant, located in a side street of Corso Lodi, is easily accessible by public transport (recommended choice, given the difficulty of parking in the area).
The room, not very large, has a refined design style; given the size, booking is recommended.
From the menu I would recommend the guinea fowl leg.
NOTE FOR FAMILIES: Due to the limited internal spaces, and lack of external play areas, it is only recommended if you have children who remain seated at the table.

Let's say that it doesn't actually recall the real Calabrian cuisine which is completely different. The value for money is not bad, the service is perhaps too fast. The only discordant note was that our table was practically attached to the toilet door and we had people waiting for the bathroom next to us, from a hygienic point of view something that should never be seen in restaurants, I hope they fix it.
