I must admit that before choosing Don TABARÉ, my partner and I had read the negative reviews! But we didn't believe them and were pleasantly surprised by this beautiful place! Nestled in beautiful Scicli, the atmosphere is fantastic and the service staff are super kind and patient... and then the food is wonderful!!!!

Beautiful location in Scicli! Excellent quality and variety of meatballs and bruschetta! Regarding the various poor service I read in other reviews, I'd like to commend the staff, all young and eager. And above all, never a word out of place about rude customers who wanted everything right away! For tourists, it's a must! And remember, it's not a fast food restaurant!!! Well done!

Lovely place with excellent food and generous portions. Impeccable service; the owner introduced us to all the dishes and gave us excellent recommendations. The caponata and parmigiana were excellent appetizers (both generous), and the meatballs (...meatloaf, given their size) were delicious! Must try!

We spent a delightful evening in beautiful Scicli, comfortably seated at Don Tabare, an interesting place with an equally interesting history. Originally a church, then a garage, then a pastry shop, and today a fantastic Catanian steakhouse. Yes, Catania, the owners of this establishment have a strong Catanian touch, not only in their accent, but also in their typically Catanian hospitality and their prices, which are in line with those in Catania—quality at a fair price. Unfortunately, prices in the Ragusa area have become very high, but they have maintained a fair price while offering incredible quality. The people who welcome customers are kind and polite, and the managers are approachable and helpful. Well done, guys, keep up the good work.

The bruschetta and the cold cuts with cheese were a perfect start fresh and full of flavor. The pasta alla Norma, recommended by the waiter Amarildo, was excellent. Cocktails were well mixed, and the beer from Etna was smooth and refreshing. Big shoutout to Amarildo friendly, helpful, and really made us feel welcome. The vibe was relaxed and pleasant, perfect for a nice lunch. Great location too, easy to reach and with a nice atmosphere. Would definitely come back
