The place is a bit hidden, which is a good thing if you're looking for a more quiet atmosphere. As this is Olympic season we had the TV switched on, but was decently placed, not to disturb the ambiance. Food was delicious and the waiters really tried their best to make it a nice experience.

Food came super fast..was delicious and tasted amazing! Very good value also..I may well order takeaway before I go home. Tucked away but is a little gem. Friendly and chilled. Off the beaten track .well worth a visit! 👌

We ate at Don Giovanni twice during our holiday, and really enjoyed it both times. On the night we arrived in Meta what we wanted most of all was cold beer and pizza - nothing too fancy. There was a fantastic choice of pizzas, and all three of us enjoyed our meal. On the second occasion we had starters, main course and a dessert. The seafood was good, and my beef tagliata main course was really flavoursome. There's enough choice on the menu here to be able to return and eat different dishes each time. Thoroughly recommend as a no-frills, moderately-priced restaurant.

Food was delicious, the mixed starter and pasta were a real taste of Italy, simple yet lovely flavours. Another great bottle of red helped wash it all down.

Lovely, lovely restaurant. English speaking waiters are very helpful. Great Prosecco offered as well as the coffee. Have gone back and back again. Meta is a lovely village with very helpful people. Put this restaurant and village on your list of places to visit. Desert options for gluten free as well.

Really lovely place to eat. I went a couple of times in my stay in Meta and the staff were accommodating and quick. Food and drink are amazing and well priced. I definitely recommend going here as it’s a gem!

24/06/2024: I went to this venue for a wedding. Multi-storey venue with two rooms, veranda equipped with tables and armchairs and terrace for covered reception. Menu based on cooked and raw fish. The starters were decent, the first courses and the sea bass with potatoes were excellent. Chaotic service especially in the assignment of tables and too fast in the starters. The beauty of the panorama is a strong point. Against unhygienic bathrooms with doors without locks, and many stairs to climb to go from one room to another.
29/04/2024: They made the most important day of our lives simply magical! Professionalism, availability and friendliness are the perfect words to describe all the staff at Villa Molpè. The food was excellent and the service was impeccable, with attention to the smallest details. You were simply perfection! Thank you for everything

25/10/2024: Esperienza fantastica al ristorante Portobello di Ischia! Ho avuto il piacere di cenare qui con la mia compagna, e l’accoglienza è stata davvero calorosa. Il cibo? Semplicemente delizioso! Ho provato un’orata fresca perfettamente cucinata, mentre la mia compagna ha gustato dei paccheri con zucchine e gamberi che erano un’esplosione di sapori. Lo staff si prende cura di ogni dettaglio: si percepisce la passione e l’amore per il lavoro che svolgono, e sono persino stati così gentili da risolvermi un piccolo problema con le tasche del pantalone. Bravissimi ragazzi, continuate così!
13/07/2024: Cena perfetta siamo stai due sere consecutive perche’ la cucina e’ deliziosa. Pesce freschissimo. Spigole di mare. E cucinato alla perfezione senza condimenti eccessivi
