I was pleased despite some negative comments. We ordered the charcuterie and cheese platter, and it was worth it.
The grill was good, but not quite as good; the meat should have been cooked a bit more. The Don Carmelo wine was truly excellent!
Luca, the waiter, deserves a shout-out for his helpfulness and friendliness.

For the second time we ate at the Don Carmelo restaurant inside the Albano estate. I had the honor of inviting relatives who live in Puglia and they were truly amazed by everything, from the food to the service to the welcome to the music that accompanied us throughout the lunch. I can only add that we are proud of you and the splendid staff and that we will be back soon, thank you.

We went to New Year's Eve dinner. A total disappointment. First of all, we froze. The air conditioning where we were sitting wasn't working, the French window was broken, and the cold was coming in from outside. They tried to cover the holes with tablecloths to keep all that cold out. They even told us a technician was due to come and fix the air conditioning (at 9 pm). Shouldn't we have checked a little earlier? The waiters were excellent, and so were the singers. The food was nothing special. It's a shame it's in such a wonderful location!

The atmosphere, service, and quality and quantity of the food are all top-notch. I return every time I'm in Salento, but the prices aren't affordable for everyone.

This restaurant, located on the Albano Carrisi estate in Cellino San Marco in the Province of Brindisi, is very characteristic, rustic, meticulously maintained, and warm. The elegance is evident from the moment you enter, with the warm welcome from Domenico, followed by the expert Maître d' and attentive, courteous waiters. All the dishes, from appetizers to desserts, were superb, prepared by a meticulous and fast kitchen led by the extraordinary and charming Chef Annamaria Verri, owner of the restaurant. My compliments, because I felt at home, enveloped in a family atmosphere, savoring unique flavors that only exist in this area.

A place where we felt the hospitality of Southern Italy, the cuisine was incredible, the wine was excellent and our biggest surprise was Albano himself who came to greet us and pose for pictures with us. The staff was extremely polite. On leaving, we also took some of the wine that Albano produces. It was a unique emotion!
