Nice little wine bar, but a bit expensive coperto for just drinks (2 EUR/person)

This place in the center of Salerno is unmissable. Take advice from Francesco, the owner, a true Tuscan. He always offers new wines. It's located under the bell tower of Salerno Cathedral. You can't miss it! Definitely worth returning to.

When I pass through Salerno, I always go to Duomo. I don't drink wine, but my friends are always excited to try a new label and drink it under the Salerno Cathedral. I go there for the crostini. The pear and gorgonzola one is excellent. The finocchiona is special, and the pecorino cheeses are too. Prices are medium/high, if you want quality..., but the staff, the location, and the food justify it. Worth trying again and again.

I've visited this place several times... From 2016 until today... The location is perfect, right next to the cathedral; you can't get any better! From the first visits where you sat on the steps to now where they have set up tables, it's excellent! The food is quite good, but the pickled vegetables and mortadella are worth a look... Since you're a local, you can find better. Providing some cutlery/toothpicks to pick up the pickled food would have been a plus instead of having to use your fingers, which obviously get "soaked in oil." Mediocre. Incredible wines! Excellent selection of natural and non-natural wines! They're a wine bar, so if you're looking for excellent wine, THIS IS THE PLACE! Service is okay; they're more busy talking to each other than to the customers. Fair prices for what you get... Bottle of wine, mixed platters/cold cuts/cheese platter + pickled vegetables €60... ✓ One flaw... How is it possible that you're a wine bar and don't have a cork to give to unfinished wines on site? I "solved" the problem with the old handkerchief-in-the-cork method. A bit strange, reflecting a lack of real customer service and attention to detail. Southern Italy is appreciated precisely for this. This place is a bit lacking in this "hospitality" vibe... Overall 3.8 out of 5...

I returned to this small but interesting place about eight years after my first visit (see review of September 30, 2018) and found the same lively, friendly, and professional atmosphere with a clear Tuscan accent. Unlike its early days, the place can now take advantage of the space in front of the archbishop's palace (a nice post-Covid legacy) and enhances and highlights the Tuscan-Salerno connection to the fullest by offering interesting labels from Campania in general and Salerno in particular, as well as excellent food from the Campania Felix region, the result of careful selection and close contacts with local producers. Prices are in line with the high quality of the products used. Francesco & Friends, keep it up, don't be silly!!! 😄😄

Had the best time at Domo! The food was incredible, got the ricotta and anchovies on bread, was delicious. The wine was tasty and the antipasto was superb, had sbriciolona salami and prosciutto, and the blue cheese was the best I ever had. We went here every night on our trip, 3 nights in a row. The atmosphere is so fun and unique, it's a beautiful space underneath the night sky surrounded by lights and pretty trees. The staff were so friendly and nice. Best spot in Salerno , it is a must stop while here in Salerno.

We asked for recommendations of wine and the guy in the bar kindly gave us two options, which were great. Ordered a mix table of cheese and ham. It comes with two types of cheese, two hams, fig jam and sun dry tomatoes. Everything was good and the bread was warm and crunchy.

The guy who served me, I heard they called him Ale, was really kind, polite and professional! Thank you!

Very nice place. Attentive and helpful staff. The owner is a very friendly man and above all very attentive and prepared to handle intolerances. I recommend it. I am celiac and lactose intolerant, but I had absolutely no problems there. In fact, I ate an excellent tartare and Tuscan cured meats. A beautiful experience. Thanks again.

Location perfetta per ritrovarsi con amici, il proprio partner, o come me con la propria madre. Bruschettoni favolosi, con ingredienti freschi e ben selezionati. Sugli abbinamenti proposti dal menù, la selezione di vini e bollicine, nulla da dire, tutto perfetto. Personale super gentile e disponibile. Consiglio vivamente di passarci! NB Da provare: bruschettone noci, pecorino fresco e confettura di radicchio rosso.
