11/03/2025: Interesting Japanese near the Vatican

04/03/2025: My family and I was travelling Rome. We are living in a country where real Japanese cuisine is non-existent so we were over the moon when we dined here. We dined here 3 times throughout our trip and tried a variety of dishes they have to offer. Food: exceptional! The chefs knew what they are doing and I can’t find a flaw in anything. Hiring the right kind of chefs are important in Japanese cuisine. I am glad they have done it right! However, I had wished they wouldn’t do Americanised sushi with the sauces as we would have ordered more sushi rolls otherwise. My recommendation would be not ordering those saucy sushi rolls, instead try the authentic Japanese dishes. Also, the best sashimis we have had in Europe in a while! We were also lucky to be served tuna belly! Price: reasonable for the quality and portion. Atmosphere: very inviting and comfortable. We have a 2 year old with us and they have made our dining experience so enjoyable. Service: exceptional. Even though they were full house, they were all attentive and very quick. Overall, extremely happy. Definitely a restaurant worth coming!
