wanted gelato and passed by this place. the man at the counter was so funny and sweet. he even gave me an extra spoon with his favourite flavour in my gelato cup. literally made my whole night :)

My husband and I stopped by a few times for aperitivos and we were super impressed with the attentive and friendly staff & reasonable prices given that we were seated literally right across from the Duomo. Drinks were tasty and pours were heavy, again I’m not sure if there was a change in management compared to previous reviews, but the staff was so kind.

Well, what do you expect from a café right next to the cathedral? It is what it is. A touristy place – completely overpriced (7 euros for a Hugo, which is the unofficial record among all the places we passed) and with rather inattentive service. At least it's a nice place to sit if you want to relax for a while after a forced march in 35-degree heat. But nothing more.

We sat down here to listen to a violin, and we had ice cream and a milkshake; it was a great way to enhance the experience. The products are delicious, the view is beautiful, the tables are clean, and above all, the staff was lovely 😁! Thank you for this wonderful evening. Pizza girls 😉.

We sat quietly in front of the Duomo for ice cream. They were generous with the ice cream (very good), very pleasant, and attentive. Highly recommended!!!

22/09/2025: A wonderful place to gaze at the lake and the mountains and enjoy delicious, freshly prepared, regional food. 😊 We also appreciated the very clear instructions when ordering, so every guest knows right away that there will be a pleasant, short wait – nicely bridged with various breadsticks. The couple who run the Holland restaurant are very nice, and the food is top-notch! Highly recommended.
27/08/2025: We had two excellent meals at Peter and Danielle's. Peter is a fantastic host, and his wife Danielle conjures up the most delicious dishes! While dining, you're treated to a beautiful view of Lake Idro. They don't have pizza, but we didn't miss it for a moment! It's a missed opportunity if you don't eat at Holland's 😉

30/12/2025: Great prices, excellent food, and top-notch service—well done! Eating at La Pergola is a treat. The beers they source from various local breweries are truly delicious.
21/12/2025: Went for a Christmas dinner, the place looks nice. The appetizers were plentiful and excellent. The pizza was very good. The only drawback was the parking, but otherwise, it's recommended.
