Eaten for lunch with typical local dishes. The fogher dish is special with melted cheese and pastin grilled on sight.

Precise and unobtrusive service. Very courteous and attentive owner. Good and plentiful food. Fair price. For the restaurant, which is very traditional, I would recommend brighter lighting as it seems closed from the outside. A "thinning out" (pass me the term...) of all that fauna both hanging and placed in various areas of the room wouldn't be bad either, which would make the environment less suffocating.

Beautiful post, after the guided tour of the Vajont dam we stop in this place; very nice and characteristic place, impeccable service, we are offered different solutions for first and second courses, we chose different dishes and one was better than the other; especially the meat cooked in beer and grilled over a huge internal brazier. Beautiful, everything good and a highly recommended stop.

I was there one day by chance and since then I have become a regular customer of the pizzeria. Delicious pizza, cooked in a wood oven (believe me you can taste the difference), tasty and with quality ingredients. The owner is a very kind and approachable person. "Home" environment with a very particular mountain/hunter style theme. The whole thing has a "fogher" fireplace where the meats, vegetables etc. are roasted. In my opinion it is worth it.

An out-of-the-way restaurant that I chose solely because it is the only one in the area open on Mondays for lunch, it turned out to be a surprising culinary experience. In particular as regards the tagliatelle with game ragù, homemade pasta and rich and tasty ragù. The owner was very hospitable and kindly served even my parents who arrived practically at closing time. Definitely worth a visit.

09/02/2025: This is a lovely little place right by the main gondola to the ski area. The food is a kind of canteen style which is good as you can see what you're getting and as its self servive ypu dont get hit with the 3.50 euro service charge. The prices are clearly labelled on the wall. The food was divine. Prices ok for a mountain restaurant and taste excelled our hotel by miles. Gorgeous views and a stunning sun spot for a sneaky beer or two before the last cable car down. Friendly staff.
02/02/2025: I happened to stop by this place while on a free trip to Cortina Dambecho. Even though it is an observatory, you can enjoy drinks at a reasonable price. A system where you have to hand over the receipt to the desk after payment to get a drink. Hot chocolate seems to be a popular product among Koreans. I had hot chocolate and a glass of Dolomiti draft beer. The two together cost about 9 euros. I think I went out for a walk and sight seeing around 2 o’clock.

04/02/2025: Highly suggested to do reservations. Everything we ordered was delicious. There’s free parking and wifi in the restaurant.
