Dolci Sapori di Sicilia In Giussano

Yesterday I was in this corner of Sicily for the first time. I have to say, the arancini were truly spectacular. The Sicilian cannoli were top-notch. My least favorite was the spinach arancini, but not because they weren't good, but because I personally didn't appreciate the type of cheese inside; I would have preferred mozzarella. The prices are a little high, but they're still worth it. Definitely worth a try!

For product quality, 5 stars aren't enough. The only flaw, unfortunately, is the slow service; given the volume of work, they could use a little more coordination and speed.

Since then... it's become a delicious habit! I stop by very often. It's a real gem: spotlessly clean, welcoming, and with incredibly kind and smiling staff. They make you feel immediately at ease, like family. But the real treasure is their sweet specialties: they're authentic, typical of Sicily, and incredibly delicious! Cannoli, cassatine, frutta martorana... everything is a feast for the palate. I'm truly fortunate to be able to find such genuine delicacies in Giussano. I highly recommend everyone to try them! The cannoli are delicious. There's limited seating, but the bakery is well stocked with both sweet and savory treats. Next time I'll try the arancini or some of the savory pies.

It's absolutely worth a try as a Sicilian pastry. Of course, eating a dessert in Mondello or Palermo is definitely a plus, but as a Sicilian dessert, it's truly excellent. If you're curious, or want to try a flavor that I'm sure you'll never want to leave, stop by and ask for advice. You'll discover that beyond cream, chocolate custard, and so on, there's sheep's milk ricotta, which adds a whole new dimension to these desserts! Long live Italy! Long live the Sicily that the Lord created.
