We discovered this place on a Sunday morning when everything else was closed. They have a wide selection of breads for breakfast. The place is quite small. You have to arrive early to find a table.

Very friendly staff, they recommended what to order because we were a little undecided, and they gave us some complimentary snacks with our wine. The cookies and cakes were delicious. Highly recommended if you're in Pisa.

I've known this pastry shop for years, and I must say that, even after 10 years, the quality of the cream puffs is still high. Today, I stopped by for a large chocolate cream puff for €2, and I found the cream puff dough to be excellent, the filling tasted like chocolate ganache, and the frosting was made with real dark chocolate. You can taste the quality and the attention to balance of flavors. In Turin, where I've moved, I still haven't found anything that can compare.

We chose to have breakfast before Mass at the cathedral. Everything was fresh and delicious; I recommend the puff pastry with maple syrup and pecans.
